Megan's P.O.V

Luke and Ashton were already at the house by the time Michael and I managed to drag Calum back. Ashton was with us in the blink of an eye.

"What happened?" Ashton asked with concern in his voice.

"We have no idea!" I replied. "We found him and then he collapsed."

"Okay," Ashton said, grabbing Calum and getting him into the house, Luke, Michael and I hot on his tail.

Luke cleared the counter  in the kitchen and Ashton placed Calum onto it. He took off Calum's jacket and we all immediately noticed the  bite mark on his forearm.

"Is that a...?" Michael asked, his eyes widening.

"It looks like one," Luke said, eyes glazing over.

"Looks like what?" I inquire, confused.

Ashton was the one to answer me as the other boys looked like they were about to burst into tears. "A werewolf bite. Deadly to vampires. It causes hallucinations. Only one cure is known to us and it's very unlikely to work."

"What is it?" I questioned, desperate to save Calum, no matter what.

"The cure is for him to consume the blood of the werewolf who bit him, whilst they are still in wolf form," Ashton answered.

"Okay... I sense there should be a but on the end of that sentence," I said.

"But... there is no way that we will know what werewolf bit Calum and the risk is beyond high for us."

"I don't care. What will happen if we don't get the cure?" I interrogated.

"He'll die."

"And we can't let that happen. So, I'm going to find that wolf and if I have to go alone, I will. Seeing as he's meant to be one of your best friends, you guys don't seem to be trying very hard to save his life. You can either stay here or come with me to save him." I lectured. When no one said anything, I let out a sigh. "But, Ashton you stay here with Calum, he'll need you if he wakes up before I get back." I started to make my way over to the front door, but before I stepped out of the premises, someone spoke up.

"Wait..." It was Luke.

"If your going to come with me, hurry up," I said, kind of wishing he wasn't the one coming with me. I got a head start running, but I soon heard him catch up with me. We still had a good few hours to search through this huge wood. I couldn't bare the thought of maybe losing someone who'd suddenly became such a big part of my like. I could feel tears well in my eyes, some escaping down my cheeks, leaving tracks of sadness.

"Hey," Luke said softly, stopping and turning to me. "He's going to be okay," he tried to reassure me with a small smile.

"But what if I isn't?" I say with more tears streaming down my face.

Luke enveloped me in a hug. After a minute I pushed him away, "this doesn't mean I forgive you for earlier. You acted like a dick and I was hurt by what you said. I don't know what I kissed Michael. Lets not get into that again; we have a werewolf to find.

I can tell Luke wanted to say something but I just started running again.

It wasn't long before I stopped. I heard a twig snap and I knew Luke heard it too because he stopped beside me. He looked over at you "Stay still" he must have thought because his lips didn't move. I'll have to get used to that. I gave him a small nod. We both looked around, trying to find the maker of the noise.

I heard a low growl to my left and I turned my heard swiftly that way. There stood a black wolf, taller than the one that I had an encounter with. My guess was that this one could possibly be the Alpha. Luke started to make his way in front of me, but I put my hand in his way. I was able to look after myself. I got on just fine before I met him and nothing's changed since, other than me being immortal of course.

The wolf had its ears pressed against its head, baring its teeth at us. I backed up one step and the wolf took this as an opportunity to advance on us. It ran forward, pouncing on me. Its massive paws on my chest, holding me down. Luke ran into its side knocking it off me. He pinned the wolf down, staying out of reach of its jaw.

"How are we going to do this?" I asked.

"I have no idea," Luke replied.
