Heartbreak

Ashton's P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open and the panic set it. My arms were restrained by chains and I was the first to have awoken out of us. My powers must have helped me heal quicker than them. I looked to my right to see Michael stirring; he was waking up. My gaze drifted around the room, landing on another body in the centre. It took longer than usual for my eyes to focus in the dark, but when they finally did, I was more desperate to be free from these chains. Megan was there, chained exactly how we were, but she was blindfolded.

I was tugging down on my restraints, but they seemed to be indestructible. I must still be weak from their attack or they injected us with something when we were out. Michael was now fully awake and had a look of confusion on his face. He opened his mouth to talk, but I quickly shook my head, no. I gestured towards the door and he must have got what I was talking about. They can't know we're alive again.

Luke and Calum eventually woke up and we all managed to keep quiet, but we had to get to Megan. All of us were weak and had no way of getting out unless the chains were taken off, but my heightened hearing was coming back slowly and I started to be able to hear conversations happening outside the door. The more I listened, the more concerned I became. What were they planning?

Kasper's P.O.V

I smiled to myself, satisfied with what I had planned. They will know the pain that we went through. All I have to do is wait for them to wake up. I was suddenly spun around harshly to be faced with a fuming Jackson.

"What do you think your doing?" He yelled at me.

"I don't know what your talking about."

"I've seen what your going to do. Why?"

"Because they did it to us. It's as simple as that. Their actions have caused consequences and they have to deal with them," I said to him.

"You won't get out of this alive. You do know that don't you?" He inquired. "This time it will be your actions that will have consequences. Deal with that." He turned and walked away from me. "Your on your own now."

His words have not changed my mind and they never will. I am his Alpha and I will always hold the power over him. 

I heard a distant rattle of chains and voices and I knew that at least one of them was back to the land of the living. Let's go pay them a visit.

Ashton's P.O.V

What the fuck was that about?! Is he holding a grudge about when we killed one of his pack? Well, I don't blame him. I would want to rip his head off if he killed one of mine so...

Calum was trying to free his hands but nothing was working. He shook his hands in anger, causing the chains to rattle. Megan flinched at the sudden noise.

"Hello?" She asked cautiously.

"Shit," I breathed.

The sound of footsteps coming closer showed that he was getting nearer to this room.

The door creaked as it opened and in stepped "the Alpha." Or whatever the hell they call him.

"It's nice to know your all awake," he smiled at us. I glared at him as he came closer to us.

"What do you mean 'all'?" Megan questioned.

"Why don't you see for yourself?" The wolf made his way behind Megan and took off her blindfold. She instantly looked over to where we were, her eyes widening as she recognised us. Her hands began pulling down on her restraints, but she had no effect on them. "You can do that all you like, but they have been spelled to never break until they have fulfilled the task that they are meant to do. They will open soon, don't you worry."

"What are you talking about?" I asked him.

"It's too confusing to go into now, so when we have more time, we can sit down and talk about it, but right now, we have other business to attend to. After today, you will know what it's like to go through sadness, heartbreak and pain, all at the same time. Only, it will be worse for you; you have to live with it for eternity."

Megan's P.O.V

I don't think I have ever been so confused before in my life. What the hell was he talking about?

Kasper walked over to me.

"You know when I told you you'd never know the pain of losing a part of your pack..." He said. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I remembered, but why is that important right now?

"This is what it feels like."

Before I had time to process what he had said, he drew his hand back and used full force to plunge his hand into my chest. I took in as much breath as I could, but I could feel his hand around my heart. I coughed, blood running down my chin.

"No!" The boys were screaming, pulling against their restraints, trying to get to me. But luck was not on our side today.

Kasper's fist was clenching around my heart and in two seconds I could be dead.

I used all of my strength to get into each of the boys heads.

I love you...

A single tear slipped down my cheek. I looked up and gave a small smile to the boys that changed my life, silently thanking them for an experience people only dream about.

Kasper's hand left my chest, taking all warmth with it. My eyes were slowly closing, my head was slowly falling, my heart was no longer a part of me. Before my eyes closed completely, I saw my heart in the hands of my killer, still and not in its rightful place. The darkness consumed me, welcoming me into its cold embrace. I was finally at peace. I was dead.
