Beginning of a Flame [Prologue]

Well I thought my life was good. I have the best job in the world, amazing friends that I can trust, hell I'm great friends with my boss. I had no man in my life simply because of my past. My past is just a mess and even thinking about it bothers me. But, things change over time. Well, my life is gonna change so much. Let's just see how I ended up in this bloody mess.

December 29, 2014

So it was after RAW. I went back to the hotel with my friends just to have a little bit of girl time. I don't really like calling it "girl time" but this is the only time we can hang out when we aren't traveling or at work. Just talk about anything we wanted to talk about. It was just me, the Bella Twins, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Emma, and Charlotte in my hotel room. Surprisingly, we all fit in the small room.

"Come on, Paige. Tells us who you like," Bliss says with a smile. "No. Last time you forced me to go out with him," I say. "That was only because it was Dean Ambrose. Come on please?" Bayley was more calm than Bliss but always sides with her at points.

"Paige we won't do anything," Nikki says. "Yea and if they do, I'll punch Bliss." Of course Brie is going to step in. She's like my mum, looking after me. While Nikki is like a sister, who is protective of me. All my friends had a special place in my dark and mysterious heart. Each of them having a different personality that I loved. God all my friends are just perfect.

"All right, all right. Its Seth..." "SETH ROLLINS?!" Alexa yells. "Shut up!" I say, but low and behold, the door was open and here comes Seth freaking Rollins. Who left the door open? I thought I saw Sasha close it. I hide under the table so he wouldn't see me blushing. God why are Banks, Flair (I call Charlotte, Flair), and Emma just sitting there quietly? Help a Brit out! I mean I really thought my Australian girl, Emma, would do something.

"Hey, I heard my name," Seth says. God he's so adorable. Alexa gets up and goes over to him. "Yea because Paige likes you!" I wanna slap Bliss so bad. She loves to make my life harder than it should be. But I don't mind. That's why she's one of my best friends. Seth smiles, laughs a little. 

   "Come out Paige." He finds me and pulls me back into the room. "Hi..." Hi? Really Paige? That's all you can say? Seth smiles at me, his eyes looking into mine. "Hey, is what Alexa said true?" All I can do is nod. I'm such an idiot.

"Well, I'm not with Leighla anymore. If you wanna go out sometime," Seth says as if he wants me to say yes. I couldn't tell if he had liked me that way, but maybe he did. I know he kinda likes Nikki, but since she's dating John Cena, she's off the market for every guy who wants to be hers. 

Bayley interrupts, "Of course she would!" The Bellas give her a shut-the-hell-up-or-see-what-happens look. Seth rolls his eyes. "What do ya say?" Come on Paige, go for it. "Yes. I would love that." At this point, I'm covering my face, so he doesn't see how much I'm blushing and smiling. 

"Hello? Open up," Seth says as he knocks on my knuckles. I shake my head and he laughs. "Don't make me tickle you," he says slyly. He knew I was ticklish because we were good friends in FCW and NXT. We use to hang out all the time until he got called up to the main roster to be in the S.H.I.E.L.D. while I was left in NXT for a while.

"You wouldn't fucking dare!" I say while laughing a little. God he will if he has to. "Watch me," he states with an evil grin on his face. I let him do it anyway. Why? I don't even know. He starts to tickle me and I'm laughing so hard.

"Seth! Stop! I can't breathe!" I say while trying to catch my breath. He finally stops when I take my hands off my face. "There's that smile," he says while helping me up.  God I just know my life will change if I date him. I might end up shutting down if he hurts me. I might just revisit my old self if I let this happen. But I love taking chances and I built walls for reason. It's all gonna be worth it in the end, right?

A/N: Hey guys. This is my first story I've written. So I know it's probably bad. I've had this idea in my head for a while but scared for people to read. This story will have a lot of twist and turns. I hope you all like it. I would love your feedback, also. Bye for now my fellow readers. :)
