----6 months later----
"C'mon Brayden get up." Someone whispered to me. I groaned and rubbed my eyes before turning over.
"Go away." I mumbled. I figured it was Eric that was trying to get me up.
"Get up babe. We gotta go. It's choosing day." He whispered and my eyes fluttered open.
"Hello." I said once I saw him standing above me.
"Get up." He chuckled then walked out of my room. I quickly got up then went to the bathroom to get ready. I brushed through my now dark hair and tied it up in a messy pony.
"Eri! What should I wear?" I shouted to him and I heard him stand up the walk through.
"How am I supposed to know?" He chuckled. I looked in the mirror and saw him leaning against the door frame. I glared at him through the mirror and he walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"It's my first year at the ceremony. I can't screw up." I said and he kissed my cheek.
"Just wear what you would wear on a normal day." He said and I nodded. I turned around and kissed him lightly then slid passed him to get dressed. I put on my ripped jeans and a long sleeved black tshirt then put on my recently bought leather jacket and laced up my black boots.
"You ready?" Eric called out and I walked out.
"Yeah." I said and fixed my jacket.
"How do I look?" I said in a teasing manner and he laughed.
"You look great Bray." He said and pulled me into a hug. We walked out of my apartment and he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I love you." He mumbled into my hair.
"I love you." I whispered back and we walked together.

"Hey Bray." Tess said as we sat down. Tess and I grew really close, she was my best friend along with Liv, Jack and Four.
"Hey Tee." I said and started eating.
"You nervous?" She asked and I shrugged.
"A bit I suppose." I said.
"Eric, Brayden and I will go to the ceremony and then I'm trusting the lovebirds on the roof alone with the initiates. I've decided to up the initiation this year so Eric and Brayden you will be overseeing transfers with Four and you two will be overseeing the Dauntless borns with Lauren and Uriah." Max said and we nodded.
"We have the day off Ari bear!" Tess said and they high fived.
"Who do you think the Dauntless borns will be?" Aaron said.
"I hope Cass and Luke stay. I'll miss them if they leave." I mumbled and Eric nodded.
"Right let's go you lovebirds." Max said and stood up. Everyone had now taken it upon themselves to call us the 'lovebirds'.
All of the Dauntless who were attending the ceremony got the train then we jumped off at the Hub. I looked around and saw all the other factions staring at us. At the front of 'the pack' was Eric, Max and I with everyone else trailing behind. We walked into the Hub, Eric's hand still in mine, then sat down in our section. We were the loudest faction obviously. I looked around and saw Jeanine walking towards us.
"Hello Brayden, it's been a while." She greeted me first, with a forced smile.
"Hi Jeanine." I said dryly and she walked over to Max.
