"Ah finally. Peace at last." I mumbled to myself as I lay down on the couch. I had about a minutes silence when there was a knock at the door. I groaned and rolled off the couch.
"Yes?" I said as I opened the door.
"Hey." Eric said and I smiled.
"Hi. Come in." I said and he walked in past me.
"How were the sims?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Alright I suppose. Very boring." I said and he laughed. We went and sat on the couch together but I lay back. He lifted my legs up and lay them over his legs and I smiled.
"Thank you." I mumbled and closed my eyes.
"Long day?" He asked and started rubbing my leg massagingly.
"Yeah. Very long day. You?" I asked.
"Hmm not really." He said and I hummed a response.
"Come over tonight?" He asked and j opened my eyes suspiciously.
"Why?" I asked and he was fighting back a smile.
"Can I not just ask my beautiful girlfriend over to stay the night?" He said and I shook my head.
"No. What's going on?" I said but he shook his head and chuckled.
"Nothing's going on." He said.
"I don't buy it. What are you going to do?" I said.
"Fine but it's a surprise." He said and I pouted.
"I hate surprises." I said and he laughed.
"You'll love this one." He said and bopped my nose.
"Wear something nice." He said and then lifted my legs up off him.
"Now why don't you go for a nap?" He suggested and I nodded. I lifted my arms up.
"Sweet dreams." He said and kissed my forehead. I pulled his head back down and kissed his lips lightly.
"Thank you Eri." I mumbled.
"Anything." He said and kissed my nose lightly.
"Have a nice nap. I love you." He said and I smiled.
"I love you." I said and turned and walked out of my room. A moment later, I heard my apartment door click and I sunk into my bed and fell into sleep.

I woke up feeling disorientated so I checked the time and it was still early. I pushed the covers off me and hopped out of bed. I went to the kitchen to get some water and quickly drank a full glass. Then I decided to start getting ready, so I went for a hot shower. I got out after a while and brushed my hair then dried it. I walked to the living room and saw something lying on the table. I looked over and saw an envelope and a box. I picked up the envelope and saw my name written in pretty handwriting. I tore open the paper and pulled a bit of paper out.
'Brayden
What lies within this box is a pretty sight,
Just promise me that you'll wear it tonight.'
It read. I set the paper down and picked up the box. I untied the ribbon and opened it up. Inside was a beautiful silver necklace that had the infinity symbol on the end. Inscribed on the symbol were the words 'Always and Forever'. I gasped and picked it up gently. I admired it for a while when I realised I had to get ready. I walked to do my hair curly, then I done my makeup, then I got dressed. I settled on a pair of black shorts, a black crop top and black trainers. I looked at myself in the mirror then went out to get the necklace. I quickly put it on and smiled. It was so pretty. I walked out my apartment and down the hall to Eric's. I knocked on his door and he opened it not even a second later.
