New Orleans: City Raining

|Heartbreaking News Pt. 1|

I tossed and turned in bed. Yet another restless night. I couldn't shake off the feeling that something horrible is going to happen. I sighed giving up and laying on my back. I legit have work in 5 hours and I can't even sleep. I grabbed my phone off the charger and played some soft jazz music so that it could possibly help me get some sleep.

I sighed running my hand down my button up shirt. I think I got every bit about an hour and a half off sleep. I grabbed my phone of the bed and stuffed it into my pants pocket. Thankfully during my mini vacation from work I didn't have any papers or nothing to look over.

I walked down the saris and into the kitchen. Lyric was standing over the stove fixing my coffee and breakfast sandwich. I smirked as images of last night flowed through my mind. I gotta admit my Bestfriend is a freak. I know most people who think having sex with your Bestfriend is a bad thing but it's only happened between Lyr and myself twice and both times we still agreed to not let it mess up out friendship.

"Here you go Ant have a great day at work and when you off can you pick up some donuts from Krispy Kreme ?" Lyric asked washing her hands

"Sure Baybeh have a great day off and don't forget to check on Maw - Maw for me." I said kissing her forehead and making my way out of the house.

I sighed heavy as my boss tossed yet another stack of papers on my desk so that I could file them for her. I swear she gets on my last fucking nerves some days. Half way through filling the papers I felt as if something bad was happening. I don't know what it was but it was like a shock of horrible pain that hit like a theft in the night.

Lyric Robinson

I tied my mermaid pink hair into a high ponytail and grabbed a bottle of water out of the refrigerator. I tossed my gym bag over my shoulder and grabbed my house & cars keys off the coffee table. I locked the front door behind me and jogged down the stone path to my car and unlocked the door. Tossing my gym bag in the passenger seats and getting settled into the drivers seat

After a long hour of working out at the gym as was beyond ready to go home. I got inside my car and drove home listening to Dreams by The Game. I pulled into my drive way and shut my car off. Grabbing my things and getting out of the car. I unlocked the front door and sat my gym bag down and tossed my key onto the coffee table.

I guess I'll take a shower and than go check on Maw-Maw Peyton for Anthony. I jogged up the stairs to the bedroom and stripped out of my wet gym clothes and turned the shower on. I pulled my mermaid pink hair into a messy bun and stepped into the shower. Letting the hot water hit my nude body.

I washed up using my Japanese Cherry Blossom body wash. I shut the shower off and wrapped the soft fluffy black towel around my nude body and made my way into my bedroom. Dropping the towel into the floor and slipping on a PINK laced bra and panties set. I grabbed a pair of thin maroon pair of joggers and a white crop top and my Jordan's. I pulled my hair out of the messy bun and let it flow over my shoulder. I grabbed my phone of the bed and made my way down the stairs. I grabbed my keys off the coffee table and made my way out of the house.

I pulled into Anthony's mom drive way and shut my car off. I got out locking the door behind me and walked up the old stone path. I lightly knocked on the door waiting for someone to open it. Moments later the door open and there stood mama Sheila with a sad expression on her face. She stepped aside letting me into the house.

"Mama what's wrong." I asked sitting down on the sofa

"Lyr promise you won't tell Anthony just yet." Mama asked

"Mama I can't do that you know I tell Anthony everything, Ma' what's going on ?" I said starting to get a little scared

"Maw-Maw Peyton was rushed to the hospital this morning.... Lyric she's in a coma and it's touch and go they don't know if she'll make it through the night. Since the cancer is getting worse they fear the coma may affect her badly which means we need to prepare for the worst." Mama said biting her bottom lip.

I sat there on the sofa speechless. I don't know what to say. I know for a for when Anthony finds out about maw-maw Peyton he's gonna break down.
