You called me a miracle
You called me your love
You compared me to a diamond
You called me your little dove
Then a fire came
On the day we were to wed
Smoke filled my lungs
But my heart was not dead
Now when they see me
They all run in fear
I'm so upset I scream
Until blood comes out their ears
They dare call me ghost
Out of the building they dive
But even though my body's dead
My heart is still alive
Let them run
Like you did on that day
Away from me
Away from pain
The heart that once beat
Now lays broken on the floor
As I now know
I will be lonely ever more
