To you, the world was colorless. It was grey. It was a world that was boring to you in your eyes. You didn't see the meaning of life nor did you care about it. You just wanted to get through it quickly.
Today was the first day of school for you at Seirin. You were forced to move to Tokyo since your father decided to take up the offer for the job promotion.
You walked into the classroom as the teacher called for you. You observed your classmates only to see looks of tiredness as it is still the morning. Most of them probably might not even remember your name with all the drowsiness going through them.
You stood in the front with all eyes on you and prepared your voice.
"My name is (L/N) (F/N). Nice to meet you." You said your short introduction with a straight face and bowed politely.
"Alright then, (L/N)-san, please take a seat beside Hyuuga-san." The teacher directed you to the empty seat with her arm. You stode to the desk beside the boy and sat down.
"Hyuuga-san, please share your textbook with (L/N)-san, alright?" She asked the megane with a small smile. He nodded and moved his desk towards your, connecting them. He opened up the textbook to a certain page and put all his focus on the book. You started reading as well.
In the middle of the lesson, he suddenly whispered to you.
"I'm Hyuuga Junpei by the way. Nice to meet you." He glanced at you, making eye contact. As he said his short introduction, all you did was hum in response. He wasn't pleased but pushed it no farther.
The next day-
You walked to the classroom and walked towards your desk. The boy was already at his desk, staring at his phone. He was mumbling to himself about how a girl name Riko was a demon or something. You were disturbed but highly curious about the girl at first but pushed the thoughts aside.
You sat down and took out the stuff you had needed for the current class that was about to start. You pulled out a book and started reading until Hyuuga decided to speak to you.
"Good morning (L/N)." You were about to reply back but thought that you shouldn't bother with it. In the end, you ignored him and he was left there, awkwardly waiting for your reply.
"Hello? Did you hear me? I said good morning (L/N)." He tried speaking to you once again but as like last time, you ignored him. He was getting sick of this and decided to do something about it.
You weren't paying attention to his actions as you were fully engaged in the book you were reading until you felt someone hit your head with a chop.
"Oi! Don't ignore someone when they're trying to talk to you! Its rude and it makes the person your ignoring feel bad!" He lectured you about your actions.
You were surprised since no one had even bothered with you. They would simply ignore you and move on with their lives but he was different.
Your world was starting to finally get filled with color, bit by bit.
You looked up at him in surprise and replied in a small voice. "Ok."
Upon hearing your response, a smile made its way onto his face. He pat you on the head and sat back down, starting a new conversation. He blabbed on and you listened, occasionally nodding and humming in response.
As weeks passed, He would talk about the basketball team and school and such. But while he talks about the basketball team, he often mentions a girl named Riko.
"Umm, who is Riko exactly?" You interrupted him in the middle of talking about their recent game with Touou.
"Hm? Oh, well shes the coach of the team. She may be a good leader but her cooking is pretty bad." He whispered the last part quietly, and looked frantically around the room.
