Rumors pt.2 (Hanamiya x reader)

Its been about a month or so since that horrid disaster that you still remember. The tears, pain, and heart aches. But that's all over with. No more lingering in the past.

You've begun to eventually move on and accept the fact that not all people receive a happy ending.

You were in class, as usual. The gossiping had stopped and everyone had returned to normal, acting as if you and Hanamiya were never even together. You were glad and at peace. You have your friends, family, and a new loved one.

But while you were enjoying your life, a certain dark haired male was beginning to regret his actions.

Hanamiya was with the girl again, hanging out with her at the park. He wasn't even thinking one bit about the girl walking beside him. All he could think about was the cheerful smile that you always showed him. And the tears that he had caused in the end.

"Hellooo? Are you listening to me?" (Girl/N) waved her hand in front of the boy, trying to get his attention and focus on her. He spared her a glance, then continued on walking.

"Eh? W-Wait up! Geez..." She tried to catch up to Hanamiya as much as she could. Hanamiya spotted a bench nearby and decided to sit down. He needed to confront (Girl/N) about their relationship.

As he sat down, the girl followed his actions. She had sat quite close to him as well, trying to lessen the distance between them.

"(Girl/N)... Lets break up." He said in a calm tone, not even looking at her. The girl sat there, shocked. She couldn't believe what had just come out of the boys mouth.

"You... you aren't serious, are you?" She held fear in her eyes, not wanting to believe what was happening to her. She looked into Hanamiya's eyes, trying to find a clue but was left with nothing in return. When he didn't reply, she spoke up again.

"Is it her? (L/N)?" She remembered your name, hating the sound of it. She was furious at you, just as furious as you were with her.

"Yea." The words slipped out of Hanamiya's mouth so easily. He had no trouble saying it at all, not caring if he broke the girl's heart. He just wanted you back.

(Girl/N) had said nothing after that. She stood up, walked in front of Hanamiya, and slapped him, leaving a red mark linger on his cheek.

"You bastard! How can you just break-up with me?! (L/N) was right to leave a dick like you!" With that said, she ran away, with tears filling her eyes.

Hanamiya just sat there. Not caring about the girl who just ran away, not about the slap he received, not about anything, except you.

After a few minuets sitting on the bench, he decided to get up and go home.

The next day~

You were sitting in your desk, scribbling notes down onto your notebook, trying to get as much information crammed into your brain for the next test.

After class, you went to lunch with a couple of friends. As you walked through the hallways, you felt a pair of eyes bore holes into your back. You turned around to see if anyone was looking at you but only saw a crowd of people busy with their own lives.

You were confused at first but shrugged away the anxious feeling. You continued to chat happily with your friends.

As school was done, you rushed out of the classroom and rushed through the school to get to the gates.

Hanamiya was following behind you secretly, trying to find out why you seem so energetic. He kept following you until you had entered a building. He looked up and saw that is was Maji burger. He looked through the windows and searched the crowd of people inside the building for you.

He had spotted you sitting down at a table with another person. As he got a clearer view of the person in front of you, he began to recognize the male.

It was Kiyoshi Teppei. Your new boyfriend.

As he continued to observe the two of you with anger boiling up inside him, he saw you get up, peck Kiyoshi's cheek and go in the direction of the washrooms.

He took this chance to enter the building and walk up to Kiyoshi. As Kiyoshi looked up at him with a surprised look, a punch was delivered to the brunettes face.

The force of the punch had resulted in the boy falling out of his chair. People had stopped what they were doing to observe what had just happened.

The look of shock was clearly visible on the brunettes face. Hanamiyas fist stung from the impact but he didn't mind it one bit.

Onlookers gave shameful looks and stares of fear. None of the workers had wanted to intervene, afraid of the aura that Hanamiya was giving off.

As he stood there, towering Kiyoshi, you had walked out of the restroom and into the scene. What you saw had shocked you. Kiyoshi lying on the floor with a bruised cheek and Hanamiya standing above him, with an intent to kill.

Before you could even think about your actions, you stood between Hanamiya and Kiyoshi before Hanamiya could land another hit.

"Stop it! What are you doing?!" You spread out your arms, in an attempt to protect Kiyoshi.

"Move it! Your not apart of this!" He grabbed your shoulder and moved you aside as if you were nothing. The anger had blinded him, making him forget his real goal. To get you back.

As you were pushed aside, you stumbled onto the table, grabbing it for support. As you looked in front of you, scared of what was to happen next, you saw your boyfriend start to slowly stand up. He had a smile on his face, but half of it didn't seem cheerful at all.

Hanamiya was glaring fiercely at Kiyoshi, hating the look that Kiyoshi was giving him.

"Sorry about what I did." Kiyoshi had apologized. You knew he was sweet, but you didn't expect him to apologize. He had done nothing wrong.

Hanamiya didn't seem to care a bit about what he had just said. He growled at him and balled up his fist, getting ready for another hit.

"Give her back." His words were sharp and dangerous. You gulped, afraid of the Hanamiya that stood in front of you.

Gathering up your courage, you decided to say what was on your mind.

"You brought this upon yourself! If you hadn't have cheated on me, this wouldn't be happening right now!" You yelled out, not caring about the embarrassment you were bringing to yourself. You can worry about that later.

Hanamiya had looked at you with wide eyes. He forgot about how amazing you were. He watched you stand there, with a sad look on your face. His heart ached at the sight of you.

He backed down, stepping away from Kiyoshi. He gave Kiyoshi one last glare before leaving the scene that he had caused.

As he left the restaurant, he saw Kiyoshi wiping away the tears that were streaming down your cheeks, as you sobbed in his arms.

He decided to go. He didn't go home, or to a certain location. He just kept walking, thinking about the mistake that started this mess.

Without a destination, he wandered the street, in deep thought.

You never know what you have until it's gone.
