Pets (Aomine x reader)

(P/N) = Pets name
(B/F) = Best friends name <-- I changed it xP

It was the weekend and you were playing with your new pet. You were completely in love with it. Your brother/sister got you a new pet for your birthday that was yesterday. You absolutely adored your new puppy.

You thought that maybe Aomine might want to see your new pet so you called him and asked if he wanted to come over if he wasn't busy.

10 minuets later Aomine arrived at you door. When you opened it, Aomine immediately ran inside.

"Is something wrong Aomine?" you shut the door and walked to your living room.

"Nothing wrong, its just that Satsuki wanted me to try her cooking again. Thankfully you saved me" He then plopped down on your couch. "So why am I here anyways?"

Your face immediately lit up. "I got a puppy for my birthday! And he is the cutest thing ever! He's so fluffy and soft and adorable." You squealed talking about your dog.

While you were talking about your dog and Aomine barely listening, a woof was heard in the living room.

(P/N) was by your feet staring at Aomine. You picked (P/N) up and went towards Aomine. (P/N) and Aomine were face to face and seemed to be having a staring contest. "ARF!" (P/N) barked at Aomine and startled him.

You placed the puppy down and when it was down and it stared to bark at Aomine even more.

"Oi! Whats with it?!" Aomine got up and started to walk away from it but (P/N) kept following him and barking at him.

"Hehe, maybe (P/N) might like you." you said cheerfully while watching the scene before you.

"Like?! More like he hates me! Help me out here!" He said running around the house trying to get away from the puppy chasing him.

After watching for a bit more you decided to go and help Aomine. You chased after (P/N) and when you caught up with the puppy you picked it up. (P/N) stopped trying to chase Aomine and started to lick you face.

"How can you deal with that creature?!" Aomine got up and started to back away from the puppy.

"That's not very nice Aomine."
"I don't care! That thing wants me dead!"
"That's not true! This cute little guy wouldn't hurt anybody."
"He tried to hurt me!"

"He probably had a good reason to." You two continued to argue about (P/N) but you lost your patience and started to run after Aomine with your puppy in your arms.

"Oi! (F/N)! I thought you would be a better choice then Satsuki! Stop it!" He cried out screaming while running away from you. After a while, you had no stamina left while Aomine still had plenty. You then decided to rest and (P/N) continued the chase while your rested.

After about 5 minuets, (P/N) came to check if you were okay. He licked you cheeks and you petted his head.

"Hehe, that was pretty fun wasn't it? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Lets go get you something." While you and (P/N) went to the kitchen, Aomine was hiding behind the couch. He peeked from the couch to see if your puppy was gone.

"Coast is clear." He whispered and sneaked around the room in case it wasn't gone.

He breathed a sign of relief when he heard you talking to (P/N) in the kitchen. He was about to leave when suddenly he was pulled back. Crap. He thought.

"Aomine, I need you to do a favour for me. Watch (P/N) for a while. (B/F) texted me saying something about an emergency. I'll be back in about 20 minuets or so. Bye bye!" you said then left in a hurry.

"W-Wait! 20 minuets?! (F/N)! Don't leave me alone with this thing!!!" He looked back and saw the puppy looking at him. Aomine's face went pale. 20 minuets?!

~To you and (B/F)

You were waiting at the park where (B/F) texted you to be at. You were a bit worried about Aomine and your puppy alone together.

"(F/N)!" you heard your name being called and turned your head in that direction. You saw (B/F) running towards you with a bag in her hand.

"(B/F)! So what did you call me for?" You asked as she arrived panting. She handed you and bag and hugged you. "Happy birthday! Well, Late birthday. Anyways, I got you souviners from Seoul! I got us matching bracelets!" She said as she let go of you. You looked inside the bag and saw a box of treats and the bracelet that (B/F) was talking about and a teddy bear.

"Aww! Thank you so much! You are amazing! But how was your trip in Seoul?" You asked as you took the braclet out of the bag and put it on.

"Oh it was absolutely amazing! It was so beautiful and there were so many clothes and accessories! You should've seen the things there! Anyways, I heard you got a puppy!" she said as her eyes sparkled. She loved dogs and she got along with every dog she met.

"Yup! I did. Its at home with Aomine. I'm kinda worried though." You sweatdropped thinking about what could've happened while you are gone. "Why?" "Well, it seems that the puppy hates Aomine... and Aomine seems pretty scared of him." You explained the situation and when you were done (B/F) burst out laughing. After talking a bit more with (B/F), you two parted ways and said your goodbyes.

Its been half an hour since you left and when you arrived back at your house, you opened the door and saw Aomine shivering in a corner with (P/N) barking at him.

You picked up your puppy and Aomine stopped shivering. After you said thank you to Aomine, he immediately left not wanting to be with that dog any longer.

"Hehe, who thought that he would be so scared of a little puppy like you." You then continued to play with (P/N) for the rest of day.
