Rydel POV

Rocky and I stood up quickly. We woke up to see.... My parents and Ratliff's parents. (Authors note: I was hoping no one would say that! Lol)

"Sweetie.... You like Ratliff?" My mom says coming up in front of me.

"Mom-" I was going to say when Rocky interrupts me.

"She doesn't like Ratliff! We were just.... Practicing her acting skills!" Rocky perfectly lies to mom. I give him a "thank god your here" look.

"Well that was some great acting!" Cheryl, Ratliff's mom, compliments me. I smile and thank her.

After that, I rushed to my room and shut the door. I suddenly had the urge to cry. I look in the mirror. I was wearing my favorite tutu. It usually always helped me feel better.

"Are you okay?" Ryland says coming in my room. I nod which I think he doesn't believe me. "What's wrong?" He asks again. I break down crying and hug him.

"There's nothing wrong." I say. Actually, I have no clue why I'm crying. I look up and Ry hugs me tighter.

We just sat there. Hugging. It was the best brother sister moment ever. Well... That Ryland and I have had.

"Awwww I need to take a picture!" My mom says making Ryland I and jump. I smiled at my mom even though I didn't want to.

After my mom took like four hundred photos, everybody left my room. Leaving me in my room. I look over at a mirror. I look at a hammer. I get up and take the hammer and smash it at a the mirror. The mirror clatters into a million pieces.

I sigh and decided to clean up the mess. After all, I don't think my mom or dad should see this. I hear a knock on the door. I quickly cover the mirror up by my hello kitty blanket.

"Hey. Sorry about earlier." It was Rocky. Why is he saying sorry? I walk over and gave him a hug.

"Thank you Rocky." I say to him. He smiles and nods. He leaves the room. Me again.

I decide to lay on the bed thinking in silence. Which doesn't happen very often when you have four brothers. I get out a scrapbook and look at old photos.

I looked at one of me and my mom at the beach. I was in a one piece hot pink swimming suit. My mom was wearing a cover up. I was smiling like the sun was in my eyes. I looked at the background and I see Rocky making a sandcastle. This had to be when I was six or seven.

Next was Ross and I at my very first dance recital. I was wearing my sassy hip hop outfit. It was a leather jacket with a shirt that was cut down to show my belly button. Then it had a short skirt with leather boots. I was all decked out in leather. Ross was just standing there making a silly face while I was doing a dance pose.

The last one, was my favorite. It was one of me and Riker. It was when we both were little. I look at the back. "Rydel: four. Riker: six." I smiled. Riker and I were in the living room on the couch. I was sitting in his lap. With popcorn and my hello kitty blanket. Riker was smiling really big. That's the best part about Riker. He is always smiling making my day brighter. Riker's arms were around me and I was smiling and had my head leaned up against his cheek. It was the perfect photo Riker and I ever taken.

I look around my room. It was clean. Not comparing with the mirror but everything else looked clean. The room had only one person and that was me.

Only me.
