Chapter 22: Unwelcome Guest

Ratliff POV

When I kissed Rydel, everything seemed like it was paused. The magical feeling when we touched was... Perfect.

"WOE." Ross,Ryland,Riker,Rocky say when they see me kissing Rydel. We pulled away fast.

"You kissed our sister?!" Riker exclaims ready to punch something. Hopefully that wouldn't be me.

"Uh..... Yes." I admit making everyone, especially Rocky, go into shock.

"Ratliff I have a surprise for you!" Stormie says walking into the room.

"What?" I ask.

Right then I see Calley. Her smile was real wide and her eyes sparkled. Beautiful.

I looked over to Rydel which was probably gonna start crying any second now.

Rydel gets up and runs to her bedroom and shuts the door. I assume she's crying. Rocky looks at me with rage.

He takes my arm pulls me out of the hotel room so we could talk. I didn't want to look in his eyes, but I had to. His eyes were filled with anger.

"Why did you kiss my sister when you have a girlfriend?" Rocky practically yells in my face shocking me.

"I don't know! One moment she was my friend, the next we were kissing on the spot." I say to him making him grit his teeth.

"Seriously dude! That's stupid. Now my sister is crying because of you! It's all your fault! Do you realize you were her first kiss? But someone had to come and ruin it!" He continues yelling.

"Boys, what's going on?" Stormie says coming in the hall.

"Nothing." Rocky and I say at the same time and fake laugh and smile.

"Well good. Calley was so happy to see you." Stormie says going back in the room. Rocky and I look at each other. His fist were clenched real tight.

"Rydel?" Ross says opening the door to a red eyed Rydel with puffy cheeks.

"I need a hug." Rydel says hugging Ross crying. Ross pats her back and Rydel keeps crying.

I look over to see everyone staring at me except for Calley. I walk up to Rydel and try to make her laugh. It didn't work.

"I think she needs some alone time." Ryland says frowning at me.

"Well who wants to go to the cafe with me?" Calley says looking at me. I look at Rydel with Ross. I sigh.

"I will." I say making Rydel cry harder.

"So will I." Rocky says surprising me.

"I will come." Riker says.

"Okay. Rydel do you need anything?" Calley asks Rydel making her run in her room and slam the door. I never seen Rydel slam a door.

"Okay I take that as a no. Lets go!" Calley says walking in the hall. Riker and Ryland follow closely behind her.

"Lets just get this over with." I mutter under my breath. Rocky punches my shoulder smiling. I smile back. Wait one minute your mad the next your nice?

When we arrived at the cafe, of course I had to sit by Calley. Rocky sat by Calley while Ryland sat by me with Riker beside Rocky.

Soon I knew things were getting heated up. Rocky and Riker kept longing towards the subject of the relationship of Calley and I. I look at her and she looks so confused. I grab her hand.

"Lets get out of here." I whisper in her ear making her smile.

"I have to go use the restroom." I lie. Surprisingly no one else said they needed to go also besides Calley.

We walk side by side down the sidewalk talking like crazy. She kept laughing until she started getting tears. I wipe her tears with my thumb and I kissed her on the sidewalk.

"There you go again kissing like there's nobody around." Rocky compliments us. Calley looks at Rocky with confusion.

"I see you haven't told her." He continues.

"I wasn't planning on telling her." I say getting annoyed.

"Wow what such a boyfriend you'd be." Rocky says getting redder by the minute.

"Boys stop and Ellington tell me now what Rocky is talking about." Calley says impatiently.

"I kissed Rydel." I admit. Calley gasps and slaps my face.

"I can't believe you Ratliff! I actually thought that you'd never ever do anything such stupid as that!" She screams her head off with tears.

"It didn't mean anything! I promise. It was just a kiss-"

"It can't be just a kiss to Rydel! That's her first kiss Ellington Lee Ratliff! Do you know how much it means to have your first kiss?" She says frustrated.

"Um...."

"That's what I thought. Bye Ratliff." Calley says walking away with tears.

I sigh and sit on the bench. Rocky sits by me with his arm around me.

"I'm still mad at you for my sister. But I'm sorry for you and Calley." Rocky admits. I sigh and cry on his shoulder.
