Ross Pov

So I'm currently in Laura's bedroom with her and I'm kinda nervous, I feel like her parents are going to find out I'm here! :/

"Laura, should I go to a hotel?" I asked nervously

"Why?"

"I don't want you getting in trouble since I'm here"

"Ross, I'm not going to get in trouble ok"

"Ok" I replied

"Plus I have a plan, I'm going to go talk to my parents and tell them you came into the city for a job but all the hotels are booked with the holiday (thanksgiving) and then you can stay here in the guest room, my mom has to say yes!"

"Ok, I hope it works..."

"It will in fact, I'll go ask right now!"
Laura said getting up and leaving

Laura's Pov

"Hey mom! Happy thanksgiving" I said as I walked in the kitchen seeing my mom preparing for our annual thanksgiving feast

"Hey sweetie! What's up?"

"Nothing much, just chilling, need help?"

"Sure, can you put the pies in the oven?"

"Yea sure" I said "ok, they are in... Now I have a hug favor to ask you" I told my mom

"Go on"

"Well you know Ross, he happens to be in town for a job but doesn't have a place to stay since all the hotels are booked so I was wondering if he could stay in our guest room, I mean he doesn't even have to join is for thanksgiving dinner but-"

"Yes, he can stay here" my mom said

"Ok I'll go tell him" I said calmly trying not to show to much excitement as I walked back to my closet to deliver the news.

"Hey Ross! My mom said yes!" I told him giving him a hug.

"Really? Yes! I can be with you!!!"

"Um yea except you have to sleep in the guest room and you have to sneak back out of the house so I can 'pick you up' and you can enter the house"

"Ohh ok" he said frowning...

"So I'm going to go distract my mom and you sneak out... Go to the airport, then I'll pick you up, otherwise our plan won't work"

"Ok, bye babe" Ross said pecking my lips before I walked out to go distract my mom

"Hey mom! I just called him, he said thank you so much for allowing him to stay here in the Marano residence"

"Oh it's no problem and he can even join us for dinner and game night, that shouldn't be a problem"

"Really? That's so kind but he said he doesn't mind"

"No no, we will have plenty of food to eat, I insist" my mom said as I motioned Ross to go and he snook by and went out the front door! Phew!

"Well I have to go pick him up in thirty minutes so-"

"Oh how about your father goes to pick him up? Traffic is quite bad out there!" My mom said

"Um yea, sure, but maybe I should go with him just so dad doesn't kill the kid"

"Yea, but before you go can you set the table for me, just set it for fifteen, we are having a small gathering this year"

"Sure that's fine" I told my mom placing dish ware at each seat and adding center pieces
