Warm, moist bodies crowded together on the dancefloor. Humans all balled together under the strobe lights, grinding and swaying. Most were in our way, but once Shaé came near enough to them, they parted like the red Sea. Mortal bodies giving way to immortality. And Abney.
Shaé walked in front of me and Abney behind. The shadows were coated in supernaturals, all looking for a good fuck or feed for the night. Sweat hung in the air, a definite elephant in the room. My nostrils flared in protest against the smell.
No one noticed who I was. No one cared for that matter and that was what drew me to this club every time. Shaé, Abney and I made our peace back in the restaurant and as a treat to the new found peace, I brought them to my favorite place. They earned it. We all did.
The bouncer hurriedly let us into the VIP section, as my name was on every VIP list on the world. Lucky me. We passed the black velvet rope and head to the only empty booth at the back of the room, in a corner once more. Shaé sat squarely on my lap and Abney clung to my side. Both women smelled intoxicating, making something low in my body hum with joy.
Round after round of shots begun, my mind taking on a hazy feature. Not long after our seventh shot, my tongue found its way into Abney's mouth and I savoured the taste. Shaé kissed my neck heatedly and a wave of pleasure struck me. We finally broke the kiss. Abney stared at my face for a while, then purred into my ear. "Let's go dance." her voice was soft and smooth. Shaé obviously heard, because when I looked to her, she nodded fiercely.
Shaé slid off my lap in one swift motion and Abney crawled over and off of me as well. The two stood side by side, their touching arms wrapped around each other's waists. Something in their eyes lit up. A fire I knew all too well from Shaé. "Come now, little Luna." she growled. The hairs on my arms stood up as the words flooded me. So I stood and they walked down the stairs to the dancefloor. Abney swayed her hips in pure temptation, causing me to groan on the inside.
We took center stage, I was in the middle again. Abney grinded into me from behind and Shaé from the front, both in sync with the other. Soon I found myself grinding just the same. Shaé turned and faced me, her eyes blazing. Her lips crashed to mine, all the while we grinded together. Abney dug her nails into my neck and moaned into my ear sending flames to once dormant places.
The intoxicating smell of them both blocked out any unwanted sights and smells around me. My ears strained to listen above Abney's wild heart beat and for a long moment I was lost in the wonder of it all. The world stood still, in perfect harmony...
And then an idiot decided to try and take something that was mine. Abney's whimper came before the strong smell of cheap alcohol and stale cigarettes. The hair at the back of my neck stood up. I turned.
Abney no longer touched me, her heart beat had also vanished from its once very near spot. A man stood behind her, his face in a sneer. His balding head was fiery red from too long exposure to the sun and his front teeth were missing. His pants hung on the floor from lack of keeping them around his hips and not on his ass. I scowled.
His mouth moved at a fast pace as it shot vile thoughts into Abney's ear, her eyes darted from side to side, probably looking as to see if someone was over hearing him. But her face was what saddened me the most, she looked disgusted and frightened all at once.
I lost it.
In a moments notice, I grabbed her hand and pulled her from him. Her soft body collided with mine but I didn't waist a moment to shove her towards Shaé. "What the fuck do you think you are doing?" the man spat, giving me a puff of his nasty breath. "I am protecting what is mine." I said coolly, keeping my calm as best I could.
"She ain't yours, devil." this time he really did spit, right in front of me, on the floor. "And ya have another one o' dem behind ya, what ya want wi' a sweet lil human girl?" his pronunciation made my insides hurt. "What I do with her is none of your business, and it won't ever be, so I suggest you fuck off before I lose the little patience I have." I churned out, biting down on my teeth. The man looked at me with a rough glare then bit out. "She is one a us! Ya can't fucking have her, devil!" he lunged towards where Shaé held Abney and my eyes flashed their true colour. The crowd around us stopped moving and looked at me. The man also stood there paralysed."I said. Back. The. Fuck. Off." I bit out in harsh words, then socked him square on the nose. He went flirting backwards, knocking down a few of what looked like his friends. I went to take a step forward but Shaé clamped a hand around my wrist.
"Don't do it, babygirl." she whispered, pleading with her eyes. Abney still looked she'll shocked and shook her head. "Let's go." Shaé whispered again and I nodded. We walked out and the valet called up our limousine.
Abney got in first, I followed and Shaé followed me. We sat on the back seat together, both clutching at my arms. It was silent the whole way home.
The limo pulled up to the porch. Shaé climbed out on wobbly legs and Abney and I followed nearly the same. The alcohol still in our systems. We reached the door, but before we entered I spun Abney around and pushed her up against the door, as hard as she could handle. Shaé gasped, but I payed no attention. "You are mine now Abney Kamdar. Do you hear me? You are fucking mine and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise." my eyes blazed at the words and Abney swallowed hard. When I pulled away, Shaè leaned in and kissed Abney passionately. The two finally broke and we walked into our house hand in hand.
That was when we noticed the obscene amount of bags in the lobby, maids fluttering in and out of doors and the noise coming from the kitchen.
For a moment we were stunned until Adrian and Xavier walked out of the kitchen, chatting along and Cassidy following behind in a wheelchair.
