Hey guys, so it's a long time since I have updated, I know. Um, I have had a complete turn around for idea's for this story and it is going to be difficult for me to do. This is going to be a O'J fan fiction, it may not sound like it but it will and the story is going to have abuse in it. I don't know if it will work or not but I have to try. Here's the chapter, enjoy:)

It's rehearsals for the battles today. I've got a good strong team, but I need to whittle it down to the strongest. Its going to be a hard thing for me to do because I think in life you have to strive for what you believe in and go get your dreams, and for me to tell someone that their dreams are going to be crushed is going to be very hard.

I get up and go to the shower, once I have rinsed the strawberries and cream shampoo out of my hair I apply a small amount of conditioner. I keep it in while I wash with my favourite Dove shower gel. Then I rinse the conditioner out and get out. I wear black wet look leggings and a sleeve less top with gold writing on the front with plain black pumps. I grabbed my black leather jacket and said goodbye to Jackson.

I lock my room up and head downstairs to the lobby where my driver is waiting for me. I get in and arrive at the studio 10 minutes early. I go grab a coffee, bumping into Danny who also has the same idea.

"Hey Jess," Danny greets. His eyes are heavy and he hasn't shaved.

"Hey, heavy night last night?" I asked.

"Yeah, Mark and Glen came around for a bit," he replied.

"It looks like you literally dragged yourself out of bed," I chuckled.

"I did," he grunted. " Well Jess, I'll see you later."

I got my coffee and headed to the rehearsal room. My first team members was already there, Kristy and Laura. I had brought Claude along to help me mentor them and he arrived 2 minutes late. We got started straight away and once the girls knew what they were singing they knew exactly how they wanted to do it. The day was long but I every person in my team kept the reason they were here in their head - to win. Soon I only had one battle left to organise, Ricky and Jake. I remembered Jake's audition very clearly. He had so much emotion in his voice and I wanted to give him something he could work with. I chose the song 'Someone Like You'. Jake had the emotion but Ricky's range was amazing. After the rehearsal session Jake approached me and asked how he could improve.

"Well, if you just keep breathing the way I taught you, the amount of emotion in your voice will take you through to the lives," I reassured him.

"He has such a great voice, his range is sick," Jake doubted.

"Jake you need to put your best foot forward. His range may be good, but your tone is so different from anything I have ever heard before," I replied.

"Okay," he sighed.

"Come here," I told him. I gave him a reassuring hug.

"Thanks," Jake said when I pulled away.

"You'll be fine," I guaranteed.

He looked me in the eye. A piece of my hair fell onto my face. Jake took a step forward and placed it behind my ear. His head fell down and his eyes were level with mine. Oh no. I know where this is going. He took the edge of my jacket in his hand and gently pulled me closer to him. My head told me to stop it but my body had other idea's. I could feel his minty breath on my left cheek. He tilted his head to the right and mine complied going the opposite way. JESSIE! Stop this is it every unprofessional. Then he shut his eyes, and mine couldn't help themselves and they shut too. In the next second his lips were on mine, kissing me. My lips moved in sync and my body edged closer to his. His arms wrapped around my waist and mine went to Jake's next.

"Jess, do you want to go grab some lunch?"  Danny asked bursting into the room. I couldn't pull back before he saw us. My face went redder than a raddish and Jake rubbed the back of his neck. Danny just stared at Jake.

"Uh, sure..." I replied, hesitantly.

"I have to go now," Jake spoke up. He grabbed his bags and left.

"What was that?" Danny asked when he was gone. I looked down. "Jess?"

"I-I don't know," I replied.

"Well obviously you were kissing him," he blurted.

"Would you be quiet. What if someone hears?" I whispered.

"So what happened?" He questioned.

"I don't know, can't we talk about it later?" I asked.

"Okay," Danny sighed.

We left the studio and went to a quiet little restaurant to get some lunch. I ordered macaroni cheese pasta with a coke and Danny ordered a burger with a beer. Of course it was Guinness. I laughed at his Irishness.

"What's so funny?" He wondered.

"You, your a typical Irish man aren't you?" I chuckled.

"Well naturally," he shrugged.

We eat in silence. I couldn't stop the scene from earlier from playing and replaying in my head. Why didn't I stop it? Because I couldn't, that was the only answer I had. It wasn't as if Jake wasn't attractive because he was, and from what I have seen of his personality he is a nice guy. He has just been through a lot of pain. He told me that his mum and dad had split up when he was 7 and it was tough on his mum. I was dreading Danny asking about what happened.

"What do you want to do now?" I asked.

"What do you want to do now?" Danny repeated, leaving it up to me.

"Um, I don't know. Go a walk may be?"

"Yeah, sure. We could take Jackson," Danny suggested.

We went back to my room and Jackson was asleep so we sat around waiting for him to wake. I made a cup of tea and we sat on the sofa.

"So, what happened in the studio with Jake?" Danny questioned after 5 minutes.

"I really don't know," I sighed. "He asked me how he could sing better in tomorrow's battle and I told him that he was good he just needed to do what I told him. Then he fixed a bit of my hair and then we were kissing," I confessed.

"Why didn't you stop it?" He asked.

"I don't know, I guess I couldn't," I replied.

"What do you men you couldn't? Do you have feelings for him or something?" Danny wondered.

"No. Danny, I've only known him a few weeks," I said.

"Well you have hung out with him so maybe you do," he replied.

"Danny, I don't have feelings for anyone!" I was slightly shouting.

"It was stupid, you don't even know him Jess. And your not supposed to get involved with anyone on the show," Danny reminded me.

"Don't you think I don't know that?" I shouted.

"I'm just saying. There is no need to shout," he told me.

"Then stop asking me all these questions. I don't know why it happened. I don't know how it happened. I don't know if I have feelings for him. I don't know why I didn't stop it. And I don't know what I am going to do," I replied after taking a few breaths to calm myself down.

"Won't it be awkward tomorrow?" he asked.

"I don't know Dan," I confessed. "I'm so stupid."

"No your not. You just need to find out if you do have feelings for him and if you do you need to send him home as soon as possible," he said.

After another 3 cups of tea and a movie later, Danny went home. It was 10pm and I was nackeredso I retired to bed. I didn't sleep much because Jake was on my mind all night long. Did I really have feelings for him?

A/N; There we go guys. I'm going to start work on another chapter right now. So I'll see you on the other side.
