*Jessie*
"Ugh," I groaned against the bathroom floor.
Turns out I wasn't as happy to get home and into my own bed as I thought I would be. At 2 o'clock I found myself bolting to the bathroom to hurl my guts into the toilet bowl. The bathroom floor was the only place I found comfort after walking all 25 square feet of the house in agitation as it was cold and I was running a fever.
"Baby, I brought you some paracetamol," Danny announced coming in the bathroom door. I moaned in acknowledgment, struggling to find the energy to sit up.
"Come here," he said, propping my back against the side of the bath tub. "Here." Danny gave me the tablets an the glass of water he brought with him. While I took the tablet he wet a face cloth and placed it gently across my forehead.
"You should eat, it will give you some energy," he suggested. At the thought of food my stomach tightened and I puked into the toilet again while Danny rubbed my back, whispering a small maybe not.
"Finished spewing?" He asked.
"Yes," I moaned.
He fixed me and cleaned my mouth with another cloth. As he leaned over me to clean the floor the was a nudge in my stomach.
"Did you feel that?" He asked with the biggest smile on his face.
"Yes," I replied into the floor tile.
"It was him kicking wasn't it?" He wondered.
"Yes," I confirmed. It didn't excite me right now. It only made me feel sicker.
"You still dont look great Jess," Danny told me.
"Thanks," I replied as sarcasticly as I could.
"Maybe I should stay off," Danny pondered.
"No, you need to go. I kept you away from work last time so you need to go," I informed him.
"Jess your my priority," he said firmly.
"Your going to work Daniel," I said with my eyes shut. "Can you get me more water please?"
"Sure," he replied before leaving.
I grabbed my phone and seen it was almost 9 o'clock. When Danny came back I told him to go to work and he did so reluctantly. I drunk my water and fell asleep on the bathroom floor.
I woke up needing to go to the toilet. After going to the toilet I heard someone down stairs. I went to get more water and check who it was. It was my mum. Pottering around the kitchen with pans.
"You scared me," I informed her.
"Sorry darling, Danny told me you weren't very well. How are you now?" She asked, concerned.
"A little better," I shrugged.
"Well enough to for some cake and custard?" She questioned.
"Just like when I was little," I grinned. Mum would always make some cake and custard when I was ill. It made me laugh. I took a picture and instagramed it saying how my mum always knows how to cheer me up. After I had eaten she carried me a try of water and more medicine up stairs with Toy Story and I got wrapped up under the covers and she tucked me, before lying herself on top of them at Danny's side just like when I was a child. I fell asleep again.
I woke after the film was over and we began to giggle at how this always made me feel better. Just then Danny came in.
"Having fun ladies?" He chuckled.
Soon mum left and it was just me and Danny lying in bed. He put Thor on and we snuggled together.
Hey guys! So Jessie wasn't feeling great but I'm glad she's better now. I'm a little stuck what I want to happen next chapter. Who's up for a catch up with Holly? Anyways let me know what you thought in the comments below and thanks for reading :) x
