Chapter 14

Arizona's POV

  Callie is about to get up from her seat to use the bathroom before we leave, but I stop her. Callie looks at me with a confused expression. "Callie, please sit for a minute. Then you can use the bathroom. I have something that I want to say. I promise you that it's nothing bad." She nods, motioning for me to continue. 

   "Tonight was truly the best night I've had in a long time. Despite our separation and me dating other woman, it was never magical like it is with you. Callie Torres, I have truly missed you and am blessed to be given another chance to sweep you off your feet. I promise you that you won't regret it. If we do have any problems, I am going to work them out with you this time. No more running off to other countries or sleeping around with ditzy interns. The only woman I want is you."

    Callie smiles at me with tears in her eyes. "I have no doubt that it will. I can tell that you have a better attitude and that Arizona is a start. I'm going to be honest and tell you that there are certain actions I may not display right away because I'm still trying to figure everything out, but they'll be displayed over time. Also, I've really missed you too." 

    Callie does a weird bathroom dance and I have to control my urge to burst into laughter. "Arizona, I really have to pee. I'll be right back." She runs to the bathroom and I flip through my money to pay the bill and tip. 

5 minutes later...

    Callie is out of the bathroom and meets me at the table. We had back to my car, hand in hand, solidified as one. Life can't get any better right now.
