Decisions To Make
Chapter 6
Callie's POV
Arizona and I are currently having dinner with Sofia. We're having pizza and breadsticks, which is always a fan favorite. We even have five cheese marinara sauce for the breadsticks. Talk about fancy. I haven't eaten this much in so long. It feels pretty good.
"So I told Penny the truth about how I'm feeling right now." Arizona's jaw drops. "Oh my god. What did she say?" I sigh. "Not much, but her reaction made it quite clear how she was feeling." Arizona pats my shoulder. "I'm sorry Callie. Are you okay?" I shake my head no. She pulls me in for a hug. "Callie you're going to be okay. I'm sure Penny will get over her negative feelings and come around eventually. When she does, make sure to approach the subject in more gentle way."
I nod my head into her shoulder. "Thank you Arizona. You always know the right things to say at the right time." She laughs. "You're welcome Callie. Now let's not have the rest of this great food go to waste." We eat the rest of our food laughing along the way.
Tonight was exactly I needed. Not only did I have a wonderful time, but I think it helped to make my decision a little bit easier.
