Chapter 22
Callie's POV
Three hours later...
Arizona and I rush out the door to get to Sofia's school to pick her up. I can't believe that she's in first grade. She's growing up so fast. Before we know it she'll be graduating high school and going off to college. I want to make sure she stays a child for as long as possible.
10 minutes later...
We are at Sofia's school. Her teacher brings her towards our car and she takes off running to us. She jumps into our arms. We laugh simultaneously. Moments like this are truly special because in a few years when she makes the transition to middle school and high school, she'll hate us most of the time for a few years. Oh the joys of future puberty.
Arizona's POV
Sofia doesn't have any homework tonight so she goes to her room to play. We tell that we'll make her supper in a couple hours. She nods and is off to the races. Her door slams loudly (not intentionally of course).
Callie grabs me from behind. "So we have some alone time for a bit. Do you want do something for a bit?" I smile. "Sure. Though it depends on what that something is." She leans forward, says "this", and kisses me WITH TONGUE. "Callie I know we're alone at the moment, but Sofia could come out of her room at any moment. How would we explain this to her?" Callie pouts in the most sexy way. "You're right. We'll save that for tonight I guess." "Sounds good to me love."
