Joint practice. Something Y/N has been looking forward in doing all day. Once the final bell let out the students of Iwatobi, the swim team made their way to Samezuka academy. Y/N was shaking, her E/C eyes sparkling at the sight of the school. As the team made their way to the indoor pool, Y/N got many glances from the boys, some even wolf whistling as she walked by. Of course the boys of the swim team got all 'protective'. Haru grabbed her hand, and Nagisa wrapped his arm around her waist, glaring at all of the boys around them.
Once the team got into the swimming area, poor Kou was bombarded by Seijuro Mikoshiba, captain of the Samezuka swim team. She wasn't the only one though, Y/N got many glances from the Samezuka boys as well, and let's just say Haru and Makoto weren't so happy about that.

After the Iwatobi swim got changed, poor Rei wearing a speedo, Y/N stepped out and prepared herself for impact. Many boys looked at her devilishly, but she didn't care. Her H/C was tucked into her swim cap, and she snapped her goggles onto her head. Little did she know a certain redhead watched her movements, as they were the same as his.
The H/C haired girl found an open lane and asked one of the boys to time her. The little silver haired boy, who she assumed was a first year, in a nervous and shaky voice, agreed to time her.
"Ready....GO!"
Y/N pushed off of the diving platform with power and force, leaving the boys frozen with her movements. Her torso rose above the water higher than other swimmers tend to do. Rei watched in amazement, watching someone swim his style so beautifully. Kou's brother stepped up and took the timer from the first years hands, and waited for the (Size) girl to rise from the water. Once her hand slammed against the wall, her timer stopped. Rin's eyes were wide, looking at Y/N in amazement.
"What's my time Matsuoka?" Y/N asked seriously, taking off her swim cap, letting her H/L H/C hair fall.
"1:50...," Rin said, almost trembling. Was he afraid? No, but now he has a new interest in his life. Something new he has discovered, and wants to strive and see where else it leads him.
"Who are you?" Rin asked, going back to his tough exterior.
"I'm L/N, Y/N L/N, and I believe Kou-can set me up to race you today?"
Rin gulped and nodded. "So, I'm ready whenever you are Matsuoka," Y/N put a hand on his shoulder, and walked back over to a still sinking Rei, as well as the rest of her swim team.

Y/N jumped into the pool, next to a frustrated Rei, and tapped his shoulder. "You know squirming and flailing won't get you anywhere? Lay on your back and I'll hold you up to keep you steady."
Rei blushed slightly, but did what he was told to do, and laid back in the arms of the female swimmer.
"Ok so calm your breathing. The water isn't something to be afraid of. It moves with your body, and moves freely with your movements."
Rei closed his violet eyes, his breathing calmed down. Once Y/N noticed his calm state, she let go without the new swimmer even noticing. "See? It's not that hard. Just stay calm and feel free. The water isn't something constricting you."
Rei finally noticed she let go, but stayed afloat. The Iwatobi swim club stood there, amazed at how quickly Rei listened and... well didn't drown. Even Rin watched from afar. Another spark of interest was set in the red head's mind. Who is this girl? Was all that went through his mind.

Y/N got out of the pool and walked over to the borderline emo, shark week boy, and grabbed his wrist to two free lanes where the race would be held.
"What the he-" Rin was cut off.
"Time to race," Y/N giggled slightly,"I'm going to show you a sight you've never seen before Matsuoka," Y/N flashed a smile, and Rin's eyes widened, but soon his face turned into a smirk.
"So, what style do you want to race?"
"Butterfly," Rin said almost immediately.
"I'd thought you'd never ask"
Y/N and Rin both snapped on their goggles, getting in the ready position. Seijuro took control of timing the two, and was about to yell go until........
