Competition Weekend

          The weekend is finally here, and so is the first competition for this year's swim season. The Iwatobi Swim Team entered the bus, and made their way to the first swim meet.
A hand laid upon the toned shoulder of Y/N, and she looked up, meeting pink eyes of her eccentric blond friend.
"Y/N-Chan! Are you nervous?" Nagisa said bouncing up and down.
"I'm okay? I guess...., but I'll be fine. For the team right?" Y/N smiled shyly, plugging in her headphones.
Nagisa's eyes widened, and even the other team members heard the famous quote that a certain maroon haired swimmer says. All of the boys, including Ama-Chan, Kou, and Coach Sasabe, sat down in their seats, either talking, studying (Hmmm I wonder who?), or listening to music.
Y/N started playing the new album she just bought by We The Kings, Strange Love, and the song 'Runaway', came on. Y/N's E/C eyes starting tearing up as soon as she heard the first verse.

'Mom....Why did you leave. You always wanted to see me compete for Dad...Why..Why did you leave' Y/N's inner thoughts just became flashbacks and memories, but new memories with her team.

"NO, RIN!"
"Y/N...You'll only end up hurting yourself more if you don't start off slow. "Besides, for someone who just got out of surgery, you were only behind you usual time by 3 seconds"
"B-But I need to beat my usual time. I need to get better Rin!"
A splash was heard next to her, but she stayed in her current position, until and arm wrapped around her waist. Y/N looked up straight into the eyes of the shark himself, wrapping her arms around his middle, crying into his chest.

~End of Flashback~

'Why did Rin do that...He hates the others. Why is he so different with me?'

The H/C girl's E/C eyes fluttered shut, and fell asleep.

~At the competition ~

"Okay first up is Nagisa with the 100m Breaststroke, the Makoto with the 200m Backstroke, Rei with the 100m Butterfly, Haru with a 100m freestyle, and a 200m Freestyle, and Y/N with the 400m Freestyle, and 100m Butterfly," Kou commanded to the group, "I'll go sign you guys in with miss Ama-Chan!" She smiled brightly, walking away with the team advisor.
"We should all get ready," Y/N faintly smiled, walking over the Kou, identifying herself, then walking to the girls' side to change.

Y/N changed into her one piece ( http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/2/1720100_32463774829.html ), checking in the mirror how she looked, "Shit..." bruises were all up her back, and neck.
"Hey Y/N-Chan are yo- WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?" Kou screamed as she saw the bruises on the S/C girl's body.
"Kou..I'm fine. These things happen because of my condition. I get easily bruised, it's nothing."
"Y/N maybe you shouldn't compete....." Kou started.
"No! I can do this....I've been practicing like crazy with Rin! I'm not letting my team down, or Rin, or my Dad."
"Okay...but if things don't look right we'll have to pull you out of the competition, and maybe even the rest of the season."
Y/N nodded, but smiled, putting on her swim jacket and shorts, and walked back up to the bleachers with the rest of the swim club.

All throughout the natatorium, many cheers echoed within the building. Once the whistle sounded the cheers of the other swim teams, but one team in particular, Samezuka's team could be heard all around the building.
