A new generation among the "gifted" is rising. 700 years into present day Terrabisk. What journey will we be taken on?

Chapter 1:

A Fateful Encounter

Our tale begins in a lovely town known as Ethereon. A flourishing and beautiful town filled with lively people and flowers as far as the eye could see. The year is 1547z, exactly 700 years since the 43 year war took its place in all of Terrabisk. Our sights are placed on yet another young woman who goes by the name of Evelyn Mirack. She was a young adolescent girl with fire red hair that flowed down to the small of her back. Her hair would be swaying gently from side to side as she walked through the busy streets of Ethereon.

Her eyes were a ruby color that gave off a sense of tranquility and maturity within the girl. On her body, she wore a white short-sleeved collared shirt. On top of the shirt was a yellow sweater vest that had the town's emblem sewn in with a navy blue color on the left of her chest. Her lower body consisted of a navy blue skirt that stopped at the middle of her thighs, and brown school shoes with white knee socks.

She swayed gracefully through the busy town with her hands resting behind her back. She walked with her eyes closed and sniffed around at the sweet, flower-scented aroma that filled the town's air. She then suddenly stopped, only for a brief moment, to feel the gentle breeze of the town flow through the air. The calm breeze blew through her fire red hair with pure elegance. She then opened her eyes and began her walk again. Coming across a corner on one of the main streets, Evelyn overheard a commotion coming from a large crowd that was gathered around one of the popular merchant shops.

"Eh? What's going on over there?" the girl spoke, her voice a rather clam one that showed her kindness. She looked over at the crowd curiously for a few seconds before nodding her head gently and making her way over.

"Hey! Hey! Calm down will ya? No need to get your all riled up for nothing people! Seriously." went a male's voice. The voice was rather calm and confident with a slight hint of annoyance. "I'll find who took you all's cash and bring 'em in. Its what Clan Rushara is about heheh!"

Evelyn peeked her head into the crowd to get a closer look at the male speaking. As she finally got into a good spot within the large group, she witnessed a young man around his adolescent years. He stood proudly with his hands placed on his hips and a confident smile. His hair was a darkened silver color that was worn in a wild style. And his eyes were an icy blue color that gave off a sense of honesty and integrity.

His clothing from the neck down consisted of a red scarf that wrapped snuggly around his neck. His shirt was a white, sleeveless v neck with red seams around the arms and collar. His bottoms were like black joggers that stopped on the upper part of his shin, slightly below his knees. The red cuffing of his bottoms squeezing his shin/calf perfectly. His shoes were high top sneakers that were black with white trimming around the bottom of them. And lastly, a blue tattoo of the town's emblem on his left hand.

Evelyn stared at the male briefly before shaking her head. She had become aware that she set her eyes on him for too long and slightly became embarrassed. She then turned to her head to the left, looking at one of the women in the crowd.

"Hey, excuse me? Do you know what's going on? And who that guy over there is?" she asked as she pointed to the male with her left index finger, awaiting an answer. The random woman, shocked of Evelyn's question, simply shook her head in disappointment and walked off to another spot in the crowd.

"What was that about? I just asked a question..." she mumbled to herself, turning her attention back towards the male who had just began speaking once more.

"So just leave the outbreak of robberies to Clan Rushara and your troubles will be over in no time guys. We'll get your stuff back," the male chuckled as he gave a bow and began heading off towards the eastern direction of town. The crowd clapped and cheered with hopes of the young male keeping his word. Evelyn, curious about the situation, decided to follow the male for hopes of gaining a bit more information. She sneakily followed his trail for around five minutes before finally approaching the male and speaking.

"Excuse me? I know you're busy right now, but can I get some info on what's going on? That crowd seemed pretty riled up until you gave them that hopeful speech." she spoke with a soft and friendly smile as she tried to make casual conversation.

"Hm? Oh man, you haven't heard? Lately, throughout Terrabisk, there have been reports of robberies by a guy who goes by the name of Ludwig. Unfortunately for our town, the guy has gotten inside and has already stolen from a few of our well-known merchants." the male replied, his voice a bit annoyed but full of confidence and determination.

Evelyn's smile quickly turned into a small jaw drop. Her face became full of concern and worry as she folded her hands and placed them up to her lips, as if she was praying. "Robberies? That can't be true, right? I mean, Terrabisk has been a peaceful place for 700 years, along with Ethereon Town. What would cause someone to just start robberies after all this time... ?"

The male shrugged then placed his hands behind his head, resting them there as he closed his eyes. He took in a deep breath of the fresh air and sighed, looking Evelyn into her eyes. "Beats me. But whatever the cause, I've been sent out to end it whether it be by force or not."

"I'm sure another approach besides force would be more effective...don't you?"

"I wish, but no. As a thief, Ludwig is actually a pretty tough guy. He'll do anything to get his hands on something he wants. So if it comes down to it, I'll just have to fight the guy." he answered as he then turned his back towards Evelyn and began his walk towards the east once again.

Evelyn, a bit worried for the male's well-being, began to follow him to make sure he was going to make it back alright. The male would glance back at her and raise his right eyebrow.

"I'm assuming you've got another question for me?" He asked in a calm tone. Evelyn shakes her head and smiles softly at the male. She then walks in front of him, walking backwards, and holds out her right hand.

"I should introduce myself. It was impolite of me to just come up to you asking questions like that. My name is Evelyn Mirack. It's a pleasure to meet youuuu...?"

The male chuckled then dropped his arms from behind his head to shake Evelyn's hand. "No need to be so formal. My name's Hinoko. Hinoko Yamazaki." he smiles charmingly while placing his left hand into his pants pocket. Evelyn slightly tilted her head to the right, giving Hinoko a big cheesy smile. She then let go of the handshake attempting to speak again, but was cut off by the sound of screaming heard in the distance.

"Huh? What's going on..?" Evelyn asked with a shocked look upon her face. Without giving an answer, Hinoko began running off towards the direction of the screams. Evelyn blinked then ran after him without hesitation.

"Hey wait up! Don't just go running off like that!!"

And so our tale begins. We are introduced to two characters and already have a foe that we're after. What's next in our tale?
