Chapter 5: Team Lotus!

She started off our tale as a regular girl. Already, she's helped stop a robbery issue that took place in her town. And now, she's a member of the town's hired organization of defense. Her journey has already made its mark on a few, and it doesn't seem to cease there...

Chapter 5:

Birth Of Team Lotus

       "Hey guys? Ready to meet the new girl?" Hinoko asked, smiling from ear-to-ear. Evelyn walked to the male's right side and smiled softly at the three, her hands resting in their usual spot behind her back.

       "Hello. I just first wanted to say thank you for letting me into your clan. I'm really glad to become a part of th--"

       "No need to be so formal haha. We love when a new member joins Rushara!" the small boy interrupted, his voice lively yet raspy. He seemed to be around the age of 10 years or so. His hair was a darkened silver, just like Hinoko's. His eyes were a vibrant orange shade, which gave him an innocent look. On his body was a sky blue, short-sleeved collared shirt with the town's emblem incrusted on the right side of it's chest area. On his right wrist was a black watch, nothing seemed too special about it. His bottoms were jet black cargo shorts. And lastly, he wore black high-top sneakers.

       Hinoko suddenly grinned then ruffled the young boy's hair with his left hand. "I told her that man. I think she's one of those rich girls who are used to being all proper and what-not." he exclaimed as the two began a small laugh. Evelyn blushed slightly in embarrassment as she looked over at the two. Still, she kept her small smile then let out a soft sigh.

       "Nothing wrong with being formal you know?"

       Hinoko then looked over at the girl and smiled slightly with a nod. "So little bro, tell her your name."

       "Little bro? This is your brother Hinoko?" Evelyn asked. Hinoko nodded once again folding his arms, standing with a proud posture.

       "Yep! My name is Ren Yamazaki! Its nice to meet you Evelyn!" the young boy happily exclaimed. Evelyn smiled a bit wider, now learning something else new about her male companion.

       "Yep, those two are as close as brothers could possibly be. Its nice to meet you. I'm Toshitsugu(toe-sheet-su-goo) Altoraz(Al-tore-as)." spoke the older male who was beside Ren, his voice mellow and relaxed.

       This male seemed to be just slightly older than Evelyn and Hinoko but younger than Ona'Runama. His hair was a mint color, as well as his eyes. His eyes also gave off a sense of a relaxed nature with a "don't care" mindset. On his upper body, he wore a leather jacket with a white, v neck t-shirt underneath. His pants were a dark brown shade and were tucked into black combat boots. "Most here call me bolt though."

       "There you go showing off again." spoke the young woman across from the two males. She seemed around the same age as Evelyn and Hinoko but had a shy face. Her hair was a lavender color, and her eyes a winter blue. She wore a white top with lavender sleeves and red pants. Her shoes were brown, toeless sandals.

       "How exactly is that showing off?" the male asked her, giving an annoyed glare.

       "Oh! I'm Toshitsugu! But you can call me Bolt! Blah! Blah! Blah! Get over yourself will ya'? The girl isn't, nor will she ever be interested." the young woman replied as she held her stomach in laughter. The male would then stand to his feet angrily and slam his hands onto the table, catching the girl's attention.
