The woman wipes her sweat soaked hair out of her face as she looks up at her husband, still breathing heavily. Her husband smiled back at her then bent down to kiss her forehead. "You did amazing," he said gripping her hand slightly tighter, "She's perfect". By this time the doctor had cleaned the newborn baby girl and was bringing her back wrapped in a light pink blanket. She gently handed the fragile baby to the new mother and pulled back watching the happy couple. By this time it had began to rain heavily against the maternity ward windows. The baby girl slowly opened her eyes and she began crying. The new father gently scooped up the small girl and walked over to the window. He began to rock her to the sound of rain hitting the window, the little girl began to smile. She slowly fell asleep, a happy, healthy, bundle of joy, her mother looked over at the man and smiled, "She loves the sound of rain huh?" he said quietly. She began to think of a name for this beautiful little baby and then, it came to her "Can we name her Raine?" she said weakly. The father looked down at the sleeping baby and smiled, "Raine sounds perfect to me."
