Chapter: One (My Mate)

Jarlan's POV

Hit harder Jarlan! Derek shouted as I swung my paw at him. He snarled and grabbed the fur on my neck and brought me down to the ground.

I groaned as I hit a rock and laid on the ground.

Get up Jar! Please! My wolf Apollo begged.

Jarlan get up! Derek snarled.

I'm done Derek! I grunted and got up.

I walked away and blocked out Derek shouting at me, I was done training I just wanted to go somewhere else.

I took off a a full run, dodging trees and jumping over bushes, letting the wind blow at my golden fur, the snow cooled my body down from training. After a bit I laid down by a creek and closed my eyes.

Kyle....

I let the images of the past flash through my mind. Me and Kyle playing together, our father gave us hugs and let us wear his crown or cape or try and hold his sword or even sit in his throne.

But he and my twin brother were dead. And it was too much to bear. Our baby half-sister lived with King Loren now, and Raven was Alpha female, she was always busy with Asher.

I felt a wet nose on my rump. I opened my eyes and turned around to see a light brown wolf with white specks around the eyes.

Bree?

She walked closer to me, It's cold let's head back to the Castle and get warmed up.

I followed her something was strange about her and I could put my finger one it.

Apollo do you feel that? I asked.

Yea I do! He sounded excited.

Weird.

We got back and I changed back into a human and walked out as I put my shirt on.

Bree had a nice cozy red sweater on and was sitting on the couch beside the fireplace. There was a giant Christmas Tree all decorated for Christmas.

"I got you a cup of Hot Chocolate Jarlan" she said taking a sip of her cup. I sat down and took a sip. It was rich and creamy, there were a few marshmallows in the cup but not too many.

"How are you doing?" She asked.

Her dirty blonde hair was in a messy bun but it still looked nice. "I'm fine, how's Raven?"

"She's busy with being Alpha Female."

I sighed and stared at the fire, the way it moved was like a dance, a dance of burning red and orange it was beautiful. I took another sip at my cup then I rested my hand on Bree's hand.

Sparks flew through me and I felt Apollo push his way out.

Mate! He said.

I looked at Bree, her eyes had turned a pretty blue. "Mate" she whispered.

"Congratulations!" Raven gave me and Bree a hug, "I knew you guys would one day be mates!"

I looked at Asher, "I don't know what to, nobody ever told me what to do when I find a mate, I'm so confused!"

"Asher, why don't you take Bree outside for a moment I need to talk to Jarlan" Raven said. Asher nodded then gave her a kiss and took Bree outside.

My sister sat down and took my hand, "I know your confused" she started, "You miss Kyle and Dad, then you suddenly have a mate, believe me I know what it's like. Trust Apollo Jar, he will know what to do, if you need help go to Matt or Asher, they'll be happy to help."

I sat and looked away, "I'm scared that I'll hurt her, she's very sweet."

"You are too, Apollo knows what to do with Bree, just trust him" she gave me a hug, "I gotta go, bye."

"Bye."

I sat on the chair and waited for Bree. Sure enough she came in and sat beside me, "I know it's different for you but I'll try to be as Helpful ad I can be Jarlan."

Your beautiful I heard Apollo say to her.

She blushed then I heard a voice that was not hers, Thank you Apollo.

"Who was that?" I asked.

She smiled, "That was my wolf, Sadie."

We stood there, in an awkward silence until Bree broke it, "I suppose I should see if anyone needs anything, I'm still a servant."

With that she walked out the door leaving me alone.

I decided to cancel The College Girl because I didn't see it getting done, So I decided to start book two for everyone who is waiting for it. Although I think I found a new story I'd like to write called 'My Sexy Romanian Beta'
