Chapter: Three (COD with Bree)

Jarlan's POV

I yawned as the morning sun woke me up. I groaned and covered my head with the bed sheets, sadly though it didn't help, the sun still shone through and I sighed.

I got up and stretched, I walked to the mirror and looked at myself, my dark brown hair was scruffy like always. No matter how hard I tried to comb my hair it always ended up scruffy again.

Just like Dad...

I shook my head and looked at myself again, I had tan skin with looked good against my amber eyes, I let my Warlock eyes shine through, they looked cat like, yellow but the iris was narrow like a cat.

Besides that I had some nice muscles and blue striped boxers, I liked my blue boxers.

You are so freaking weird, I heard Apollo say.

You are too, I said back and he laughed, Not as weird as you.

I grabbed a pair of sweat pants and a gray sweater with a howling wolf on it. I went into my bathroom and combed down some of the scruffy parts of my hair on the side of my head.

After that I opened the door and went down to the giant Kitchen to get myself some breakfast. I noticed a plate of Bacon with a note beside it.

Dear Jarlan,

Asher and I have gone out for a bit and we will not be back until dusk. Here is some Bacon for you and if you need anything ask Kaydon or Derek.

Bye.

I shoved the note in my pocket and grabbed the bacon. I walked to the couch near the Christmas tree and turned on the T.V. I grabbed an Xbox controller and put in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare.

As I ate my Bacon and played a campaign I felt a loneliness inside of me. Kyle and I use to play on the Xbox all the time, and since he passed I hadn't played it.
"Jarlan?"

I paused the game and turned around to see Bree. She was in some P.J's with a pink robe around her holding a English muffin in her hand.

"Whatcha playing?" She asked.

"Call Of Duty... do you want to watch?" She smiled and sat down on the couch beside me. I un-paused the game and played it.

For about an hour I played with Bree at my side, she watch as I fought until the very last part where I get stabbed by General Shepherd.

Shepherd: 'Five years ago, I lost 30,000 men in a blink of an eye. And the world just F***ing watched.'

We listened to Shepherd talk while be loaded his gun and pointed it at my head.

Shepherd: 'I know you understand' then Captain Price starts fighting with Shepherd and we watch while I black out.

I look at Bree and give her the controller, "Here press the X button" I told her, she did pressing the button as fast as she could pulling the knife out of the body. When she did she looked at me, "What do I do now?" "Move the stick at Shepherd then press this button."

She did and as Shepherd looked up the knife hit him in the eye killing him, and Bree screamed.

"Hey it's alright!" I said. "That's suppose to happen, he's the enemy he kills my other players Ghost and Roach. We are suppose to kill him" she looks up at me, "Really?" I nodded.

She sighed and handed the controller back to me. "What happens to Makarof?" "We track him down in Modern Warfare 3, I play as Price and Yuri."

Bree had finished her muffin and got up. She went to the giant movie/games shelf and pulled out Modern warfare 3. "Will you play this?"

I nodded and she sat down as we watched the very last part.
Price: 'I though I told you this was a one way trip.'

Nicolai: 'Looks like it still is, they'll be looking for us you know.'

Price: 'We gotta get Soap out if here.'

Nicolai: 'Da I know a place.'

Then the credits rolled.

"Here I'll put this one in" Bree offered and pulled out the game then put the 3rd one in.

She ran and jumped on the couch and snuggled up beside me.

Baby she is beautiful! Apollo howled.

I rolled my eyes, "Why are you rolling your eyes?" Bree asked. "Oh Apollo is being Apollo."

"I figured so what happens in Modern Warfare 1? Who is the enemy there?"

"His name is Zachaev. I got on missions with Price and at one point I shoot his arm off" I explained. "His arm off?" "Yes, Makarof and Yuri were there too."

"It's a giant story so shall we move onto number 3?" I asked smiling.

She nodded, "Go kick Makarof's ass!"

For all those who don't know COD stands for Call Of Duty. I am a big fan of Modern Warfare, I watched my brother play them all the time but sadly he took the series with him to College. Also I forgot what else Shepherd says after the first saying.
