Chapter: Twenty-one (Final Battle Pt. 1)

Asher's POV

"Raven I beg you please stay here. I need you to watch the pack."

"No I will not stay here while my brother and my pack are in danger! I want to be there to finish it! After all... It was me and my family Korpra wanted in the first place. So I started this."

"But our baby Rae! Please stay here for him!" I begged. Raven smirked, "How do you know it's a boy?"

I smiled and hugged her holding her close, "Alpha's instict, please I understand he's your brother. But I will save him."

She pulled away, "We are going to save him together Asher. As Alpha male Alpha Female of the pack."

We can argue all we want Asher, she'll still go, Dexter said to me. Artemis feels the same way.

I sighed and put my hands on the slight bump on her belly, "Promise me princess. Promise me you'll stay by my side in this fight."

She nodded, "I promise Asher. Let me go get dressed... please."

I let her go and the went over to Kaydon, Derek and my father.

"Are the wolves ready?" I asked.

They nodded, "Yes Asher, just waiting for King Loren and his army."

I nodded and walked up to address my pack, "For too long there has been a Witch in our land! Our Country of Romania! She has killed innocents including a loved member of our pack! It's time we rid the land of her evil! This time, we will rescue Jarlan, Bree, Drake and Flair... and we will kill her! Prepare for the Final Battle!"

The was a chorus of loud cheers. 

Raven joined my side, the had some type of armor on, "My father gave it to me for my seventeenth birthday. It's suppose to protect against evil."

I felt a punch to the gut, I used to hate the Warlock King but now... Please tell me your watching over your children Warlock King. And watch over your new Grandson please.

As I walked away I heard a quiet voice in my ear, I will wolf... you'll be seeing me soon anyways so tell me then.

"King Loren... Queen Karma Welcome" I said.

Karma hugged me, "We've know each other for a long time Alpha don't be so formal with me please."

I hugged her back.

"Alright we have their location and when we get close enough I have and idea to split into five groups. We'll surround them and attack making sure no one leaves alive."

Loren nodded "Alright. Catherine!" 

The blonde Warlock ran to his side, dressed in battle armor.

Wow Catherine looks so grown up, Dexter said amazed.

I hardly remember what she looked like when I met her for the first time.

Loren explained the plan to her and she went off to her fleet of Warriors.

"Are you ready son?" My father walked up behind me.

"I would be better if Raven would stay behind" I grumbled.

He chuckled, "Well your mother went into a battle when she was pregnant with you and Kitty, so I know how you feel. Her mother instinct might help her fight better in battle though."

I nodded and Raven held my hand, "Ready to finish this?"

I kissed her head, "Yes."

Loren and Karma joined me and together we headed out.

Vayrin tapped me on my shoulder, "Nyomi, Kari and I are coming to help with the injured."

I frowned, "All three of you?"

She gave a sad smile, "Asher we both know that many are going to die. It's better to have all three of us come to decease the number."

"I understand." My heart ached knowing that I was going to lose wolves in this battle.

Finally we reached the mountains, "Korpra's place is in the mountains she might have guards though" Jack said.

I nodded, "I know."

As we planned everyone split into five groups. I leading one, Derek leading the second, my father leading the third, Loren leading the fourth and Catherine leading the last."

At the same time we charged at the Castle.

Raven's POV

"Alright is everyone ready?"

Nyomi, Matt and Catherine nodded, "I have Karma leading my squad so we should be good."

I nodded, "Thank you."

From the moment I got to the Mountains I could smell Jarlan's blood, I knew Asher would be furious with me but I had to save my brother.

"Were here too!"

Allia, Era and Winter came up behind me, "Asher doesn't know were here yet but we need to rescue Flair first."

"We will I can smell Jarlan from here so Flair, Bree and Drake should be with him too... I hope."

Era placed her hand on my belly, "Are you sure you should be fighting?"

I swatted her off, "I'll be fine Era, let's go already."

We ran from the battle and into the Castle. I could hear the fighting happening, You'll be alright little one.... I promise.

I realize that this chapter should have been named something like prepare for Battle. But whatever. So we have this chapter from Asher and a little bit of Raven's POV for this chapter. Just so we can see how their doing in their life.
