Chapter Seventeen

Arashi's POV

I walked into her office not bothering to knock. I bowed my head and said, "You wished to see me this morning?"

"Ah, yes Arashi. Had you knocked, I would've told you I was already with Kurenai's team." She told me Irratated.

I shrugged and walked over to Kiba. I said, "I already knew they were in here, not like I couldn't sense them."

"They Why Did You...! Never mind, since you're so impatient, here." She threw the mission scroll at me. "It's a B-rank, Intel/assassination mission. You must take either a Genin, that I approve of, or a chunin with you."

"I assume Kiba's out of the question?" I asked, thinking seriously.

"Yes." She said firmly.

"Hmmm, I assume all Jonin are buisy?" I asked.

"Yes, most are on missions, or with their squads." She answered.

"Have you promoted any Chunin from the Chunin exams?" I asked.

"Yes, but they aren't ready for this yet." She answered.

"Yet, I am? A genin?"

"Chunin." She corrected.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, now choose already."

"May I take my brother?" I asked.

"Sasuke Uchiha, finally a good question...." She mumbled. Then louder, "Do you feel he has the skills necessary to complete this mission with no troubles? Professional opinion."

"Yes. He is excellent at transformation jutsus which may come in handy. He has exceptional skill in assassination and he has good patients and wont irritate me." I said.

"Good, you may take him, you will have to catch him at the gate in ten minutes I assigned him a mission with Team Seven. That is a simple scouting mission though, this is more important. This mission may take you a month or so, maybe two. I need you to go to the Land of Frost to Shimogakure. You will be gathering Intel on a man named Kenzo Yuuta. He is suspected of Killing shop owners and taking them over, also running a drug company, and kidnapping then sexually harassing the kids." Tsunade explained.

I raised my eyebrows and asked, "So you're sending kids?"

"Yes, I fear that might be the only way to complete this mission..." Tsunade said.

"Woah! Hold on wait a minute here!" Kiba said, "You can't honestly be expecting Arashi and Sasuke to go into this as bait!"

"No, but as a last resort it might be nessasary." I said. "Bye Kiba. Sorry I'll be gone so long."

"Not your fault, just come back in one piece okay?" Kiba asked.

"Yeah, yeah. Love ya." I told him and them gave him a quick peck.

"Love you too." Kiba said as I walked out the door.

I ran home quickly and packed for a month. I grabbed my extra cash in case we needed it. I put my clothes and other things like that in two scrolls, then I put a tent in a scroll. Next I stocked my backpack with two water bottles, ninja rations for a month. After that I put in 3 Deamon Windmill Shuriken, back up Shuriken, Senbon Needles, and Kunai. As a last thought I put together a small first aid kit. I picked up my back to find it surprisingly light considering what was in it. Then again all my clothes and thing are in scrolls......

I ran out of the house and to the gate. I sat meditating at the gate, waiting for them. After a few minutes waiting I felt them approaching. Naruto yelled, "Arashi! Are you coming with us?!?"
