Chapter Twelve

Arashi's POV

We all stood in a group in front of Anko, looking at the monstrous forest in front of us. I was thinking of a plan actually, of which tactic to use. Should we attack others close to the tower or venture into the woods and have a better shot of meeting competitors? Both have there upsides and downsides but there has to be something that would further us in the long run, right? It can't all be the same or more than likely we would all.... wait they have to have equal chances or we would all go one way...... Damn, looks like I'll have to wait and see what the rest of my team does.....

Naruto suddenly said, "Woah, nice place. What is it?"

Anko answered, "This is the location of the second test of the exam. It's the 44th battle training zone, but we call it The Forest of Death."

Naruto mumbled, "Forest of....Death?"

Anko started explaining the rules after she scratched Naruto with her Kunai. I just zone out not really caring what the rules were. With the Forest of Death, it's kill or be killed. She passed out the stupid consent forms which I signed without even looking it over. All it did was release her from any accountability to our deaths. I wont die so it didn't matter what the form said.

Anyway soon enough all of my team was at gate waiting for it to open. We had a Heaven Scroll, which I had insisted on carrying. I tucked it into my sash and waiting with my team. We were waiting at the gate only for a few minutes when the gates opened.

We ran into the forest, but soon slowed to a walk. We had only just begun the test when we heard screams echoing throughout the forest. We stopped and Sakura said, "That sounded like someone screaming."

Um no shit sherlock, what else could it have been?

A few moments later she said, " I do not like this place."

Naruto said, "Oh come on this is nothing to be scared of. This is gonna be a piece of cake."

I said, "For once I actually agree we just have to keep our eyes and ears open Sakura, more than likely we can handle anything that comes our way. Even if we can't if we sense them we'll have a head start on running."

Sakura nodded, suddenly taking confidence from my and Naruto's words. Then Naruto scuttled over to a bush and said, "Yeah um excuse me but I really gotta, you know."

Sakura ran over there and hit him, she yelled, "Not in front of me and Arashi you don't!! Go find a bush or something!"

A few minutes later Naruto came back, but something was off. As soon as he finished talking I ran over and uppercut him, lifting him off the ground a little bit. Sasuke was right behind me and kicked him into a tree a little ways away.

Sakura said, "Guys, it wasn't that bad, don't you think you're going a little over board?"

Sasuke kicked him around a bit. 'Naruto' dodged a few hits, confirming that there was no way this was actually him. Sasuke pulled out a Kunai and they started going at it again.

Sakura asked, "Sasuke what are you doing? What's wrong?"

I said, "Sakura look at him, for one Naruto wouldn't be able to dodge Sasuke's attacks. Secondly Naruto is right handed, this guys Kunai holder is on his left leg."

Once Sasuke explained that we already knew it was an impostor, the person transformed back to his real appearance. He said, "Alright you got me. So what? I'm still going to take your scroll now hand it over! Or else.."

I pulled out my sword and got ready for a fight, while Sakura finally pulled out a Kunai. The guy asked, "Alright so which one of you has it?"

Dude, we aren't stupid enough to tell you that...I mean I could take care of you easily and quickly but that would waste too much energy on just my part, we need to take care of this as a team.
