Chapter Twenty-Six

Arashi's POV

I used the Harashin-No-Jutsu and we all apeared in Tsunade's office, 'all' meaning Tsunade, Jyraiya-san, Kakashi, Daxton and I. I got out of Kakashi's arms and walked over to Daxton. I laid a hand on his back, that was about level with my shoulder, and said, "First of all, I would like you to meet Daxton. He is my protector."

"What about...?" Kakashi trailed off.

Knowing what he meant I said, "Everyone but Saber chose to leave, even Azul..." I trailed off, thinking about how guilty she looked when she left and about just how deeply it had hurt me. Daxton leaned down and rubbed his head up against mine. I smiled slightly, but it soon dissapeared. I said, "Anyway, I have a report to give. As well as a few other things...."

Tsuande pulled out the reports I had given her and we went through everything. I had rewritten it all so it was in my hand writing. We went over everything very carefully, me explaining the best I could. It must have taken at least two hours. Before I said, "There is one thing I need to tell you before we move on....."

"What? What happened?" She asked, sounding worried.

I scratched the back of my neck and said, "Well, I may have..." I spoke quickly, "ChallengedPeintoaduelandfoundoutthatIcanbeathimbutIhadtousemyeyes."

"You showed Pein your Kekkei Genkai?" Jyraiya-san asked surprised.

"Yeah, we were evenly matched and I was starting to tire. Soon he had the upper hand and just kept hitting me with everything he had. He even used one of his paths and I defeated it. He had drilled me into the ground, I was beaten bad. I thought about it and I had to know. I had to know that if he ever returned and tried to attack the village that I could protect the people I love. I used my clan's Chakra and my eyes, defeating him quickly." I summarized.

Tsunade sighed and asked, "Anything else you want to tell or ask me?"

"Yes." I opened my mouth but paused.

"What?" She asked.

I steeled myself, thinking about all they had done for me. I looked at her confidently and said, "I would like permission to return to the Atasuki Base and retrive Itachi Uchiha and Hidan."

"Are you crazy?" Kakashi asked behind me.

I ignored him and said, "Tsunade I would like to show you my memories and the things that I have seen, showing you just how much Itachi and Hidan would like to come and live peacefully in the village. Itachi Uchiha, as you know, didn't kill his clan just to test his skills, he was ordered. Hidan, is immortal and he just got mixed up with the wrong people early on. I can vouch for both of them."

"I will watch your memories, but I can't give you an answer until after." She said.

I nodded and added, "Oh, and I already talked to them. I propose that instead of torturing them to see what they know, they have decided to let Voodo look through their memories as long as nothing he sees leaves the room."

I received a nod from her and started playing my memories from the last two months. I made sure to skip the part where they helped me with the reports, yet I still lingered on the memories that showed how much they both either cared for me or the village. I couldn't help but let myself replay the full memory of my first night there. It was my first nightmare in the base, but it was also the first night that Itachi had showed how much he had grown to care for me in such a short amount of time.

I made sure to show her when Hidan said that he would come back for me, after I had thrown a small fit about wanting to go home. I even showed her the night that Itachi and I both couldn't sleep. He had told me exactly what had happened the night he killed his clan, explaining how hard it was for him. He even explained all about how he had orders from Danzo and the others. Once I was done I was panting slightly. I walked forward and sat on her desk, out of breath and low on Chakra.
