Chapter Twenty-Three

Arashi's POV

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder. I rolled over and snuggled in to Itachi more. I felt someone shake my shoulder again and I groaned, pushing the hand away. I felt a flick on my forehead and I opened my eyes and looked up at the traitor, I found Kakazu standing over me looking annoyed. I got up slowly and carefully, as to not wake Itachi. I grabbed Kakuzu and dragged him outside Itachi's room. I closed the door softly and asked, "Okay, so why did you wake me?"

"Everyone wants a real breakfast and you're the only one that can cook." He told me.

I sighed and held up a finger. I walked into my room and changed quickly, throwing on black booty shorts and a black cami. As a last thought I threw on some socks and walked out. I found Kakuzu waiting for me. I let him lead me to the kitchen and found everyone sitting at the table. I opened the fridge and took out eggs, bacon, sausage and stuff to make rice balls. I heard Deidara ask, "Where did you find her?"

"Itachi's room." He told them sitting down.

I heard everyone start talking but it all seemed to blur together while I cooked. I saw Itachi walk in the kitchen and said, "Morning Nii-san."

He started rubbing his eye lightly and said, "Goodmorning Imouto."

He sat down and started talking with the others. It must have been another 5 minutes before I started setting the food on the table. I spread everything out, except the riceballs. I sat them down right in front of Itachi, before getting two glasses of water and setting them next to our plates. I sat on Itachi's knee quickly and everyone started eating.

About half way through breakfast, Kisame came in. He looked fine, no burns or anything. I said, "Goodmorning Kisame."

He looked towards me and, I don't know if he was thinking about yesterday or if it was my almost hopeful expression, he smiled. He shook his head slightly and said, "Morning kid."

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and smiled. I asked, "So Tobi was still out when you left right?"

"Yeah."

"Good." I mumbled.

Itachi whispered, "What? Don't like Tobi?"

I mumbled, "More like I don't like Obito."

I felt Itachi tense but he relaxed quickly and whispered, "Explain later."

Breakfast continued in silence until everyone was done. Pein said, "Kakuzu, Arashi and Itachi. I want you three to go out and collect bounties on people in the Bingo Book. Kakuzu, you have a good team that is very skilled, aim high. Collect as many as you can in two weeks and then come back."

"Aim really high. I like a challenge every now and then." I told Kakuzu smiling.

Kisame asked, "You were serious when you said Assassination was your favorite huh?"

"Heck yeah I was, I did over 15 last month." I told him.

Pein asked, "Any injuries?"

"I just got a kunai stabbed in my back. It didn't hit anything improtant and the guy was dead before he could even move." I told him. "So when do we leave?"

"Right now." He told me.

"Yess!" I exclaimed. I stood up quickly and put my plate in the sink before saying, "I'm gonna go pack."

Itachi's POV

I watched Arashi leave quickly, holding back a smile. I said, "Well, this is going to be interesting."
