Jeremy

"Dad?" I stand up from my seat, watching as my Dad walks out of a room, his face filled with anger, yet a slight bit of fear showed his eyes. He stops when he sees me and a sleeping Reece on the chair. "What happen? Did you find her?"

"What are you doing here, Jeremy?" Dad asks, walking over to me and then looking down at Reece, before looking back to me.

I motion to Reece. "He didn't wanted to leave." I shrug. "And I'm here because I want to know if you know anything about Octavia, where is she?" I look at him and he sighs, rubbing his face before looking at me.

"Wake Reece up, and let's go." He nods to Reece, and I nod before turning around and shaking Reece awake.

"Hey man, get up. Time to go home." I say, and he blinks a few times, sleep still evident in his eyes as he looks up at the two of us. When he sees my Dad, he quickly gets off his chair and stands up.

"Jamal," Reece breathe, "did you heard anything about Octavia?" He asks the same question I just asked a few moments ago.

When we turn to him to see if he'll answer us, he only motions with the nod of his head to follow him, so we do. We walk out of the police station and to his car. I get into the passenger seat while Reece gets into the back, after putting our seat belts on, Dad starts to drive to Reece's house.

Dad clenches his jaw, and I watch as he was choosing his words carefully before he spoke. Letting out a breath, he glances at the both of us. "Octavia called—" Right after he said those words, we both cut him off.

"Octavia called?!" I lean forward in my seat, and I could feel my body relax with relief. My sister's safe, oh God, she's safe. "Where is she?! Is she okay?!"

"She's not hurt, right? Where is she?! What did she said—" Dad cuts Reece off, throwing him a stern look from the rear view mirror.

"If you both let me talk, then I'll tell you what I know so far," He snaps, and I shut my mouth as Reece mutters a sorry sir but we look at him expectantly.

Sighing, he stops at a red light before continuing. "Octavia's in Mexico and—" he pauses as Reece opens his mouth to say something but quickly shut his mouth at the look my Dad gives him. My eyes only widen. "—but right now we don't know where in Mexico, or she could not be in Mexico right now. There's a lot of possibilities where she could be, and we couldn't track her when she called because the phone call was under 60 seconds, we needed it to be 60 seconds so we can track the phone call to see where she was. Unfortunately, that didn't happened. As much as I got from the call, Octavia is fine with only a injury on her arm, but I didn't get to hear much after something happened." He clears his throat, and his eyes narrow as he clench the steering wheel as he drives. "I can't tell you what happen, but all I know is she's a fighter, and she's smart, she'll find a way out. She always does." He stops before Reece's house, looking at the both of us. "I promise I'll bring our girl home, safe and sound. I won't stop until I have my daughter home again."

My chest squeezes at what he said, that something happened before Octavia could tell my Dad anything more. What happened? Did something happen to her? I hope she's safe and won't be the idiot she is.
