Octavia

"Ow! Ow! Octavia!" Reece says and I immediately pull the cloth with alcohol away from his skin, giving him a smug smile as he press a hand to his arm and narrows his eyes at me. "That hurt!"

"I told you that it was gonna sting you big baby," I shake my head, laughing quietly. "I'm not done, I still need to put alcohol on your other wounds, or else it'll get infected and we don't want that, do we?" I say and he grumbles under his breath before holding his arm out to me.

Pressing the cloth on his wound, he hisses and I smiled lightly as I work on his wounds. The smile falls from my lips when I remember who did this to him, Demi did this to him. She cut him everywhere, and there were bruises the size of her fists and kicks. Demi really beaten him up. Yet, we were both glad that she hadn't broken a bone or anything.

"Can you tell me what happen?" Reece asks me softly after I finish pressing alcohol to his wounds then started to wrap them up. I glance over at him, feeling my chest tighten at what I've been through, and shake my head.

"Maybe for another day, Reece. I don't really wanna talk about it." I tell him softly, looking up at him so I can meet his eyes. He nod, and I look back to the wound on his shoulder, pressing a band-aid on his wound while I felt his eyes going over my body, as if to check I wasn't hurting or injured.

"I should've went with you to Walmart," Reece mutters quietly and I look back at him, finishing fixing him up. I grab onto his hands and made him look at me.

"Hey, that was in the past. I didn't knew that man was gonna kidnap me. Lesson learn, I'm never gonna do that again." I say, and he cracks a small smile at me. He then reaches out and pulls me into a hug, I hug him back and pressed my face against his shoulder.

It's nighttime now, and we have just finish eating dinner. We found a empty motel and decided to spend the night here. Lexi choose to have her own room, which was across ours—I didn't want to leave Reece and I felt better when I know he's beside me—while the twins got the room next to her. I got Reece some new clothes and gave him my two guns, also with one of my combat knifes. He looked at me like he never saw a weapon in his life, but I told him that as long as we are out here, we're going to use them even if we don't want to. Then he ask me if I killed people, and I told them yes that I did, I'm not proud of my actions, but it was kill or be killed. If there was any other way that I could go through this whole ordeal without killing, I would do it, but there's not much of a choice that these people are giving me. So there isn't much of a choice, I need to protect myself and my friends, even if it means I need to put a bullet between the bad guy eyes. Which in this case, it's Demi.

"You should take a shower and get all of that blood off. The water and electricity is still running, so you should hurry. I'll be back, I'm gonna talk with Lexi." I tell Reece, pulling away from the hug and standing up. I help him stand and he looks down at me, since he was a couple inches taller than me and I'm pretty tall for my age.

"Okay, I'll see you in a few." Reece says then he press a kiss to my forehead, and I smile gently as his lips linger a bit longer than necessary and he pulls away from me. I watch as he grabs a towel and his new clothes before entering the bathroom, he shuts the door behind him. Sighing quietly, I turn around and made my way out of our room and toward Lexi's. Tapping my knuckles against her door softly, I call out to her.
