Princess Bubblegum's P.O.V.
I hadn't seen Marceline or anyone in fact for four days. Not since that Saturday in detention. I'd overheard my parents talking about homeschool but I hadn't bothered arguing. Actually I hadn't really talked to them since... I yelled at them. I wanted nothing more than to see Marceline or even just walk outside of the castle. It felt like I was in prison.
I fell onto my bed, taking off my glasses and setting them on the nightstand. A knock on the door made me jump, seeing as I was deep in thought not paying attention to the outside world. "Yes?"
"It's I." Peppermint Butler's voice could be heard.
"Come in." I said lazily.
He walked in, frowning at my state. "You haven't eaten all day." He sat a plate on the table, "I have come to tell you the king and queen wish to speak to you. It's important."
I groaned and slowly got up from the bed, "Thank you." I mumbled before walking out of my room and down the hall.
When I walked into the dining room I instantly recognized the third person sitting down. When they heard the door they all looked at me. "Dear!" Mom said, "Come sit down. We have someone we'd like you to meet."
I sat down opposite of the man and a chair away from my parents.
"Bonnibel, meet Ice King - your soon to be husband."
