[UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION] The First Dream (Book One)

Chapter 4

That dark night Swiftfeather has another dream. This dream isn't a prophecy message but Twistedstar appears. In the morning she decides to talk to the leader.

"Twistedstar?" Swiftfeather meows after she finishes her morning meal.

"Oh, Swiftfeather! I was just about to call a family meeting. You can gather up the rest of the family while I clean up my den." Twistedstar meows, panic choking his meow. Swiftfeather nods as she goes to wake up Heatherwind.

"Alright," Twistedstar starts "Have we all had the dream with Stoneclaw?" A chorus of meows in agreement echo off the small den wall. "I think one of us should visit the Moonstone on their way back from the Gathering. The question is, who should go?"

"Why don't you go, Twistedstar?" Swiftfeather's mom, Meadowspot, meows

"I think I would be gone too long and the other clans might get suspicious." He meows, worry still thick in his meow.

"Yeah, you're right." Heatherwind meows "I think Swiftfeather should go."

"That seems sensible." Twistedstar meows with more confidence and then looks at Swiftfeather "You're a great warrior. I know you'll survive." Another chorus of agreeance fills the den

"Oh, I don't know..." Swiftfeather mumbles, not loving the idea of leaving WindClan.

"Nope, I think everyone agrees. Swiftfeather?" Twistedstar meows with confidence almost overpowering his meow

"Y-yes?" She meows back eyeing everyone in the den

"Will you embark on this dangerous journey for the sake of our family?" Twistedstar meows, acting like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"Oh," Swiftfeather starts, torn between helping or staying safe. Before she declined the mission something clicked in her mind. "Of course I'll go!"

"Thank you, Swiftfeather!" Twistedstar meows "You must leave after the gathering."
