[UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION] The First Dream (Book One)

Chapter 16

Twigpaw gasps and is left speechless as she walks into the glistening cave after walking through a dark stone tunnel. The blue, gray and silver stones border a little puddle of sparkling water.

"Is th-that the pool?" Twigpaw asks, eyes stretched wide with amazement

"Yes. I will speak to my ancestors while you wait..." Swiftfeather meows, then swishes her tail towards the tallest rock. "Stand there." Twigpaw nods while Swiftfeather lies down and presses her black nose into the freezing water. Her mind goes blank and a dream enters her mind.

"Swiftfeather," Stoneclaw meows, his eyes glinting with pride "You made it. I am so very proud of you."

"But we need to tell you about your first dream." Twistedstar interrupts

"Yes, sorry. The first dream was only a warning. You have no need to worry about the future. You, Fogstar and your kits have no reason to be worried." Stonefur meows, then shifts his gaze to Twistedstar "I-I was trying to warn you about ShadowClan's attack. But I fear I was too late." Before Stoneclaw starts to let his welling tears fall Twistedstar meows,

"It's okay. You have no need to be sorry. I should have been more careful, like Stripetail had said. But the past has already happened. We cannot change that. The Future is now."

"But anyways, to sum this all up," Stoneclaw meows "Thank you for coming... You have always made me proud and you have no need to worry."

"Goodbye, Swiftfeather." Twistedstar meows while tears form in his
moss-green eyes.
