Chapter 1

Jimins Pov

Today's the day. I will admit I'm really nervous but I won't show it as soon as I step in that building. I'm wearing a very expensive suit to my first day of work. My dad bought it for me as a congratulatory present for getting the job. I really can not screw this up. I rush around my apartment getting ready and grabbing all my things. I finish up by straightening my tie and I walk outside to hail a cab. I get in a cab and tell the driver the address. Where was I supposed to meet the team manager again? Was it the lobby or in the department? Maybe I should call him. I go in my contacts and find his contact

"Team Manager Jung Hoseok"

I call and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" He answer

"Team manager!" I exclaim

"Oh! Jimin-ssi!"

"Yes! I'm sorry to call but I forgot where we said we were meeting." I say

"Not a problem. We're meeting in the lobby okay? I'm actually here getting a coffee now. Where are you?" He asks

"I'm in a cab like 5 minutes away! I'll be there soon." I say

"Ok. See you soon!" He says

"Bye."

I hang up the phone and take a deep breath. I sense a long day ahead of me. I hope this boss doesn't make me run around too much. Like getting him coffee. Well maybe I can do that but silly things like getting him a burger. I remember that happened in this drama I watched "High School King Of Savvy". That was a good show. Maybe I could fall in love with a director too like the main girl. The taxi arrives at the address. Wow.... This building is tall!!! I hope our department is on the 20th floor or something ! I pay the driver and get out onto the sidewalk. I walk into the loud, crowded lobby. Wow... This looks so fancy and cool! I spot the mini Starbucks in the back of the lobby. That must be where Team manager is. All of the sudden someone shouts.

"Jiminieeee!"

What? I turn around to find my old high school friend Jeon Jungkook. Oh my god!!

"Kookie!!" I run up and hug him

"Hyung you work here!" He excitedly says

"Yes I do! How'd u get in here you brat" I laugh

"I am the official secretary of Director Kim Namjoon!" He squeals

"Oh. I'm just an intern." I laugh

"Which department?" He asks

"Strategic planning." I say

"Oooh. Good luck. You'll need it. The director has a record of firing a lot of people and of just being rude and cold in general." He says

"Ugh! Why me? Well thanks for the heads up though." I say

I check my watch. 7:56. Shit I should go find the team manager.

"Jungkook I got to go. Wanna meet after work?" I ask

"Yeah I'll call you. If you need help with anything today I'm on the 15th floor, just come on down." He says

"Okay! Bye!" I say and walk towards the Starbucks lounge. I see the team manager and greet him.

"Hello! Sorry I saw a high school friend in the lobby." I say

"You're not late it's fine. Let's go i still have to show you to the department." He says

We walk over to the elevator having casual conversations about our morning. The elevator opens with one man standing inside. His hair is bright green. Like mint chocolate chip icecream! That green. Well it's good to know I'm not the only one who dies my hair in this company. My hair is an orange color right now.

"Oh. Director! Hello!" Team manager bows

Wait. Director like Min Yoongi?

"Hello." I bow

"Jimin-ssi , this is director Min Yoongi. The head of our department."

I say another quiet hello and we step into the elevator. Wait so the director has mint hair ! Awesome. He must be laid back! Wait, no Jungkook said he's really rude.

"Director , this is the new intern." Team manager says

The director presses the elevator button to open the door.

"Why don't you go get me a coffee then? And not the one in the lobby across the street." He takes my hand and puts 10 dollars in it

"Oh and for a welcome to the team you can get yourself one too." He smirks

I swear to god....

"Of course. I'll be back." I step out of the elevator

"24th floor !" Team manager says to me.

Well atleast were high up like I wanted! This director though. I am definitely not going to enjoy working with him.
