Chapter 3: Jump City

(MARCO'S POV)

As we head out of the departure lounge and into the gate, I looked over to Star, she looked nervous. "Hey Star, what's wrong."

"I'm scared Marco," she shivered. "I don't see any flying horses, I don't see and antigravity balls. How does this thing stay up."

I hold Stars hand as I point towards the turbines on the planes wings. "Star, those are engines. Like the ones in a car but more powerful. They are like antigravity balls. And each one has the power of 3000 horses inside. They keep the plane up and moving forward."

"But still in fairness, it is a building in its side being thrown from one place to another."

I squeeze her hand a little tighter. "It's OK Star, I'll be here the whole time."

She smiled a week smile as we boarded the plane. We showed our tickets to the stewardess. "Follow me Mr. Diaz and Miss. Butterfly.

She lead us up a flight of stairs away from the normal seating area. I was puzzled. "Excuse me, where are we going."

She looked at me. "This is Jump City airlines, the only airline that caters to our city's savours. You have titan tickets, meaning you sit in the hero section." She directed us into a large room with 5 leather seats, a home cinema and a game dude with invasion of the bubble bots 1, 2, 3, and 4 in it. There was even a kitchen. "And the cabin is on a gyroscope, so you wont feel any turbulence." She then handed us a remote and walked out of the door.

Star looked way less nervouse. "This is amazing. Marco, you go make some nachos, while I look for a good movie to watch."

I have her a fake salute. "Yes Ma'am." I then marched into the kitchen. The flight wasn't long, so we watched a couple of movies and ate our nachos until the ding for landing sounded. We strapped ourselves in and waited for the stewardess to come and get us. Soon enough, she opened the door and lead us out. We stepped out of the airport and hailed a cab. As we entered the cab the cabbie asked us where we needed to be. I looked down at the letter and it said to meet Zach at down town Jump City Centre at 1pm. I then looked at my watch. It read 12:45. "Take us to the Jump City Center."

"Ok then. So, you two here for a romantic getaway then."

Star looked annoyed. She hates it when people assume. "Huh, so you just assume that just because we are in a taxi together we are dating, is that it?"

"No," he looked scared. "It's just you haven't let go of each others hands since you left the airport."

I then realised that me and Star were still holding hands. Star gave a weak smile. "Sorry. It's just that I never like people who assume, and I have a bit of a quick temper."

"No worry's love. I understand." He then pulled out and we were at Jump City Center in 10 minutes. "Well, here we are."

We got out and paid the driver. I looked at my watch. 12:59:00. I smile at Star. 12:59:30. I tap my foot. 13:00:00. A giant monster truck flew into the square. Out jumped a small person with robotic arms, a girl with pink hair, a one eyed person, a person with a divide sign on his shirt and a giant. A scream rumbled through the crowed and they all broke away, leaving me and Star standing alone in a now empty space. I held Star behind me as I slowly backed away. Suddenly, Jump City's very own super hero team arrived, or at least three of them. There was Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven and two I hadn't seen before. The male of the two spoke in a voice that sounded familiar. "Titans, GO."

The Titans leaped into the air. Raven came down on the pink haired one with a few bolts of dark energy. Cyborg hit the giant with some plasma. Beast Boy turned into a gorilla and started to pound the small person. The two unknowns didn't leave each others side, as the male produced fire out of nowhere and the female stopped them dead in their tracks, finally finishing them of with some sweet tae-kwon-do. I nudged Star. "I recognise those moves, but I don't know who from."

When the villains were tied up, the team went back together and gave a massive high five. Cyborg mentioned something and becomes for them to follow him, but the female tapped his shoulder, whispered something, then nudged the male, pointing into the crowd. The male came walking over closely followed by the female. The male spoke, I recognised the voice. "Star, Marco, no time to explain, just get in the T car."
