Chapter 12: Get Them

(Marco's POV)

I was lying on the bed, contemplating life, and what I was doing on an alien planet. Suddenly, the door flew open. I looked over and saw Star standing over me. She waved her wand and I was tied to the bed. She jumped on top of me. "Why are you keeping secrets?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I say in a cool voice.

"Don't play dumb. The dapper triangle invaded Zach's head and he said you were keeping secrets from me."

I stared at her. "First of all, why are you invading peoples personal thoughts by using a flying nacho cheese dorito. And second of all, yes, I have secrets, and no answer I give you will be satisfying."

She curled up into a ball and lay on her side, cradling herself as the ropes around my arms and legs unwound themselves. I looked over at her and heard sobbing. I cradled her in my arms, but she just pushed me off. "Just promise me one thing. Promise your not cheating in me with Avery."

I reeled over with laughter. "You really think that after all this time, I would that unfaithful as to cheat on you, and with one of my friends wives no less."

"Stop laughing, it's not funny."

I wiped a tear of mirth from my eye. "Sorry. So, in answer, no, I'm not cheating on you with Avery."

She cocked an eyebrow. "How to I know your not lying, she was in your room at the tower, and you, Avery and Zach have been very secretive recently."

"Let's review the evidence. One, Avery was in my room because I was ILL. Two, everyone has secrets, and you shouldn't be using triangles in hats and bow ties to find them out. I know for a fact you have secrets that you aren't telling me, so lay back a bit. And third, you said it yourself twice, Zach knows, and I wouldn't tell him if I was cheating in you with his wife. Come one Star, do you really think I would be stupid enough to try and find someone better than you. You are the best, and you are the only one I love. I can't even imagine a better girl for me than you."

Star just sniffed. A few minutes later I checked if she was asleep and she was sound. I snuck out of the room and walked along the corridor. I stopped outside Zach and Avery's room. The seemed to be arguing.

"I can't believe you Zach, when I signed up for this, I told you not would be risky and I could get hurt, but I also told that I will be OK."

"I know, I'm sorry. But I am your husband, worrying about you is what I do."

I opened the door and went in.

Avery looked at me. "Ah, Zach. Shall we begin."
