Chapter 7: Where?

(Star's POV)

I pulled away from the circle and decided to go and check out my room. The doors were all automatic so I made good time. As Avery had said, a picture of my face was on the door. It opened when it sensed me and I went in. The room was a single bed room with a desk, a cupboard with mirrors on the doors and large bay window. The room and bed sheets had a very neutral blue tone to them, but they seemed to shine as I came closer. I jummped up into the air and landed on my bed. Suddenly, the room and bed became a radiant rainbow spread of colours. I oggled at the newly coloured room for a second before deciding to go back to the common room to tell Marco. I walked back in and noticed that Zach and Marco both had disappeared. I walked back along the corridor until I heard the swoosh of a door opening. I turned and it was Zach and Stella's room that had opened up. Out walked Zach and Marco. Zach seemed to be telling Marco something.

"So, that's an idea. I mean, you know her better than I do. But be sure to stick to... Oh hey Star."

He elbowed Marco and he stood up straight. Marco stratned up and hid something behind his back. I looked at him confused, but then decided to drop it. I trust that what's behind his back is nothing bad, and if I need to know, he'll tell me.

"Hey Marco. Have you been in your room yet?"

"Uhhh...No."

"Cool follow me." I turned around and led him to the room with his face on it. When the door opened, the room had the same neutral blue colouring.

"And now what?"

"Go and sit on the bed."

He went and sat on the bed, and when he did the room changed to a very harsh red. "Woah, how did it do that."

"Don't know, but its cool isn't it." I went and sat next to him and the room changed to a deep lilac.

He put his hand on my shoulder. "Star, not that I don't love this moment we are having here, I need you to leave. I have a lot of things that need to be done."

"Ok, I'll see you later."

I walked out and bumped into Avery and Raven. "Hey Star."

"Yeah...Heeeeeeeeeeey." Raven said in her dreary voice.

"Hey girls, where are you going."

Avery looked at me. "Out. You coming?"

"No, I was thinking of going to bed."

"K, oh, have you had a chance to check out your room."

"Yeah, how did you get the walls to do that."

Raven smiled. "I did that, the walls correspond to the owners mood when they sit on the bed."

"So when Marco sat on the bed and it went dark red?"

"Hiding something."

"And when I sat next to him and it went a deep lilac?"

"Passionate."

"Finally, when I sat on my bed and the walls went rainbow?"

"You broke it."

Avery elbowed her. "Told you, you owe me $10."

I walked across to my room as they walked off. I was thinking. Why would he have to hide something.
