Chapter 5

When they got inside, Alesa walked downstairs.
"You two are home early what's up." She noticed that my sleeve was pulled up and she saw my cuts.
"I'm going to my room." I start to walk off but Adam grabbed my wrist and broight me back. I winced in pain.
"Sorry... but your not going anywhere." Adam said
They all sat down on the couch. Alesa just sat there.
"Dottie... Why didn't you tell me."
"They were old. I didn't think I could do worse."
"But you did."
"Well I can't help it ok..."
"I know you can't help it but there's no reason to do it here."
(Adam's POV)
"... but there's no reason to do it here."
Dottie looked down.
"Look..."
I pulled up my sleeve and show her my arm.
(Dottie's POV)
"Look..."
I looked up to him pulling up his sleeve. There were several scars on his arm. They looked real old.
"When did you do these?"
"A couple of years ago."
"Well... the question is why did you do it."$2
"I went through a depression phase. But the fact that your doing this now is our main issue.Why are you doing it know...?"
"Well... When Jin and Ross found out. I promised him I wouldn't do it but that map just broke me down..." my voice trailed off.
"Wait? The Don't cut... Oh... i can see that."
"So i ran to the bathroom... and t-the demons i-in my he-head took over, telling me to c-cut that y-you all obviously wanted m-me to do it..."
"We wouldn't want to see you hurt Dottie, and you know that!" Alesa finally said speaking up.
They fell into a of brief period of silence.
"Uh... Alesa what time is it."
"12:50."
"Shit i gotta get back to work."
