Chapter 71

We ran up to Adam's and Alesa's room. Adam was passed out on the floor with a pill bottle. Alesa called 9-11 and I grabbed the pill bottle and read the label.
Dorothy Yonkosky Clondine.
"No..."
I ran to my room and grabbed my purse. I put my phone on the table and grabbed my favorite hat. A bunny. I ran out the door and walked to the park. Why me... I noticed a guy walk towards ne. He was about 19 or so. He had brown eyes and black curly hair. He also had a bunny hat. I knew his face but I couldn't put my finger on it.
"Hi... Are you ok?"
Yep definitely 19 or 20. I hadn't even reliezed I was crying.
"Well not really. My father just took a bunch of pills and is on his way to the hospital..."
He sat next to me.
"Well why are you with him?"
"I ran away."
"Why?"
"Because they were my pills." I started sobbing again. He hugged me.
"By the way I like your bunny hat."
"Thanks."
"My name's Sam."
"Wait Sam Gladiator?"
"Yep."
"Omg. I'm a huge fan!"
"Thanks. Hey I got some time on my hands I can take you up to the hospital."
"Yeah... You must know my father then."
"Whose your father?"
"Adam Dahlberg."
"Yeah I know him. Come on let's get to the hospital."
We got in his car and he drove me to the hospital. When we got there Alesa asked me.
"Dottie? Where have you been?!"
She hugged me.
"With Sam."
She looked at Sam and then looked at me.
"I figured you two would meet soon, since you both like bunnies."
I chucked.
"How's Adam?" Sam asked.
"He's doing ok now. Hey what are you doing up here in Washington. Don't
you live in like California?"
"Yeah... I was seeing a friend."
"Oh..."
"Mrs. Dahlberg?"
Alesa walked to the doctor. As I sat down. Sam sat next to me, since there was no where else to sit.
"Dottie come on." Alesa called me and I got up and went to Adam's room. He was up and I stood next to his bed.
"He-hey dad..."
"Hey Dottie... I hate for you to see me like this."
"It's fine... If you want me that's fine. I'll go home and pack my bag-"
"No Dottie that's not why I did it."
"It wasn't because of me at all?"
"No."
"Well why'd you take my pills."
"First thing I found."
We went home and I said bye to Sam. I gave him my Skype and he gave me his and we went home. Alesa called a meeting and told me to leave so I went up and got on Skype.
