Chapter 69

(Adam's POV)
Me and Alesa were sitting in the living room. Dottie was upstairs.
"How am I supposed to tell her Alesa?"
"I dunno."
"It's just... Not safe here... I mean we been to the hospital so many times. The hospital bills are getting bigger. She might've been better off in the orphanage."
"It's not safe there either. Remember that's where she first started cutting."
"True but it's are only option."
"What about that other girl Sofi?"
"I think she's staying with her aunt."
"Oh..."
"I guess I'll tell her to go pack..." I can't believe I have to do this. It's for her own good. I got up and heard a door slam.
"Uh-no..."
(Dottie's POV)
He's really sending me off? Just like that? I ran into my closet and hid. I curled up into a ball and cried.
"Dottie...?" I saw the closet doors open and there stood Adam. He offered his hand and I took it. Once I got up, hugged him and cried into his chest.
"Please... Don't make me leave... Your the best parents I ever had... You never put me down... Please..." I said sobbing.
(Mitch's POV)
I hear a door slam across the hall. I beat Jerome and paused the recording. I heard sobbing from Dottie's room. I opened the door and saw Dottie crying into Adam's chest.
"...please." I heard her say. Adam looked at me. I left knowing that look.
(Dottie's POV)
I let go of Adam.
"You're not leaving any time soon... I promise." He said looking me in the eye.
"O-ok." He left the room and I sat on my bed. I stared off for awhile. I saw something move on my desk. I got up and looked at it.
Follow me. I looked to my door and saw Ty. He phased through the door. I opened it. He walked down the stairs and I followed.
"Dottie where are you going?"
I looked and saw Alesa. I looked over to Ty. The park. He mouthed.
"The park. I'll be back soon."
"Ok. Be careful."
"Ok."
I opened the door and followed Ty. It felt like forever.
"Ty... How much longer..." He simply smiled and pointed to the sign. It was Dent Stables.
"Why are we here?"
He started to walk to the house but he went around back and pointed to a window.
"Why are you showing me this?"
He pointed to a pebble and made a throwing motion. I grabbed the pebble and threw it at the window. Sofi came to it and opened it.
"Hey can I come in?"
"Sure through the back door." Sofi said.
