Chapter 2: Rumors

He put me down when we got to the front steps. Niall was standing one step below the one I was standing on. I wrapped my arms around his neck, resting my elbows on his shoulders.

"I'm sorry about all this drama, I know how much you men hate this." I said with a little grin. He smiled back at me. Then he leaned in and kissed me. " I forgive you." He said pulling away. Niall grabbed my hand from his shoulder and intertwined our fingers.

When we walked inside, we turned right, into the living room. His cousin on the edge of the couch, almost on the floor. She stood up the second she saw us. She looked nervous. Why was she nervous?

"Oh my God, are you two okay now?" she said glancing at our hands. She had a thick Irish accent, just like Niall.

"Yes, we're fine." Niall said as he looked at me and smiled. He put his forehead against mine, and looked straight into my eyes.

His cousin started talking again, "Ok, good, I thought I'd broke you guys up. Oh my God. I was so scared. From what Niall tells me, you are an amazing girl."

Niall started laughing and he pulled away, "Allie, this is my blabber-mouth cousin, Cassie." Cassie smiled. "And Cassie, As I'm sure you've figured out, even with that puny brain of yours-" I cut him off, laughing. " This is Allie," he continued.

I extended my hand for her to shake, "Hi, I guess this is a better meeting then our first one." We all smiled and giggled a little bit.

"I am so sorry about that. I really should have introduce-"

"Shut up Cassie, you've apologized six billion times already. You're as bad as Liam!" Niall cut her off. Niall and I laughed, but she blushed.He put his arm around her. "But that's why I love you." He said making her smile.

"Hey! What about me?" I joked.

"Come here." Niall stretched his other arm, gesturing me into a group hug. I walked over embracing them.

"Hey it's a group Horan hug!" I said with a smile. Niall laughed. Oh his laugh, his famous laugh.

We pulled apart and Niall turned on the T.V. The news was on.Niall sat on the couch, I sat on his lap, and Cassie sat next to him.The news had just finished up a segment and was preparing for commercials.

"After the break, some dirt on One Direction's Niall Horan." The words came out of the T.V. Niall's eyes widened.

"What did I do now?" Niall said, confused.

" It's okay hun, I'm sure it's just some stupid rumor." I said trying to boost his spirit. He shrugged, "You're probably right."

There was a knock at the door. More like machine guns hitting the door.

"I'll get it." I said, I knew who it was. I went to the door and opened it. There were eight fists where the door was. "Hey boys!"

As soon as the words left my mouth, Niall shouted, "It's back on!" I ran back. Niall was standing now. I stood next to him and put my arm around him.

"What's back on?" Liam asked as he entered the room with the rest of the boys. Niall limply lifted his arm, pointing at the T.V. The caption said: "Niall Horan, Cheating?"

"That." Niall told Liam, "That is what's back on."
