And All Your Little Things [Niall Horan]

Chapter 23

Tomorrow's going to be the worst Monday ever. I have to take a huge final test in every one of my classes and Niall's leaving to start his North American leg of the tour. It's so boring here when he's gone. It's hard cause he loves to go out and have fun, so we don't always get a lot of time to talk. I don't blame him though, if I got to travel around like he does, I would want to get out and have some fun with my best friends. 

He's taking me to the amusement park today to spend some time with me before he has to leave. It's hard for him with a broken arm and all, not being able to go on some of the rides. He gets bored really fast, so we leave and head out to a movie instead. We head to the theater in the mall and Niall buys a large popcorn, a huge box of candy for both of us, and a large soda with two straws.

After the movie, the food was completely gone. Before I met Niall, I kind of thought it was an exaggeration, but it's really not.  I look at my phone and see I got a text from Mariah.

Hailey and I are so excited to see you this weekend!

Me too! Gotta go, talk to you soon!

I follow Niall into a store with big neon pink letters above the door spelling DEB. "Wait, why are we going in here?"

"I thought this was your favorite store?"

"It is, but I didn't think you'd want to come in here."

"Well I want to get you something nice before I leave tomorrow."

The one thing I don't like about shopping with Niall is that he doesn't care how much I spend, but I hate spending his money. I pick out a bunch of things, but put them all back because I don't have much money myself. Niall keeps giving me looks when I put the stuff back on the rack.  He grabs most the things I put back. By the time we walk out, Niall spent about $200 and I spent about 20. 

We walk out of the store with about ten bags and head to a different shop to get some stuff for Niall. I want to buy him something too, but I don't have a whole lot of money. I buy him a new snapback and then he gets some stuff too. By the time we are done shopping for him, people are starting to notice that we are here. It actually took them longer than it usually does though.

As soon as we see the crowds forming, we try to make our way to the car, but those directioners work fast. It's amazing! We make it to the point where we can see the door, but the croowd is closely following behind us. We finally start running about 100 feet from the doors. We barely make it, but the directioners are still rushing out hte doors. I was hoping I'd be able to stop running, but we have no such luck. We start smushing the bags and packing bags in each other so that we can get them in the car faster. 

We get to the car and try to open the doors, but the doors are locked. Niall quickly reaches in his pocket and pulls out the keys. He quickly clicks the unlock button and we shove the bags in the car before we get in. Just as we get in the car and lock the doors, the girls have reached the car. We lean our heads back and give out a deep breath. We let the girls scream for a second before Niall start the car. 

"Let's go get something to eat." He says as he puts his seat belt on.

I laugh, "Um how about we get out of this crowd first."

He laughs and puts the car in gear. It always makes him nervous driving in this stuff. Usually when this happens, someone else is driving. We don't go out alone a lot. I put my hand on his shoulder to comfort him, "You can do this babe." I smile, not totally sure if he's even looking at me. He slowly starts moving slowly so that he doesn't hit the fans.

After about twenty minutes of barely inching through the crowd, we are finally out of the parking lot.

"Ok, now where are we going to eat?"
