And All Your Little Things [Niall Horan]

Chapter 59: Announcing

Niall and I get up early to get ready for our party tonight. Even though we haven't been home for two and a half months, the house is still a mess. It probably would have been a good idea to clean up before we left. And it doesn't help that when we got home the other night, we just dropped our bags and haven't picked them up yet.

"I feel like shit." I groan, rubbing my face, resting my elbows on the kitchen counter.

"Go lay down. I'll clean up." Niall says, wrapping his arms around me from behind and kissing my temple.

"Are you sure? It's just morning sickness." 

"Yes, I'm sure. You can come help me when you're feeling a little better."

"I think I'll just make some tea and see if that helps." I get up and make myself some tea, then go sit on the couch.

After about half an hour of resting and sipping on my tea, I'm feeling decent. I stand up and out my mug in the dishwasher. I start making the desserts for tonight. 

After hours of preparation, the house is clean, the food is ready, and Niall and I have both changed into some nicer clothes. 

Everyone slowly starts arriving, Liam first, and Louis last of course. 

"Oh my god! It smells delicious in here!" Louis exclaims as he kicks his shoes off. 

"Thank you." I smile as I greet him with a hug. We go into the kitchen where I've layed out appetizers on the counter. Louis immediately digs in on what's left. The early birds definitely got the worm in this case. 

"God damn these are good." Tori sighs as she stuffs a chicken puff in her mouth.

"Thanks." I smile. Then I get out plates for everyone and set the table. Niall grabs all the food that I've instructed him to put on the table and does as told. 

"I hope you all saved room for dessert." I smile as I pick up empty plates and bring them to the sink. Niall grabs the stack of pudding pies and sets them out on the table while I grab a knife to cut it.

"We have fortune cookies too if anybody wants one. Because obviously you can't have Chinese without fortune cookies." I grab the jar of cookies on the counter, setting them next to the pie. Everyone dives for the jar. I look at Niall and grin. We watch as everyone cracks open their cookie, pulling out the slip of paper, and reading it. It takes some longer to react than others to the customized fortunes we made. 

"Wait. Are you-" Liam starts to ask.

"You're pregnant?!" Kayla exclaims as she jumps up from her seat. I can't keep myself from smiling.

"Really?!" Louis shoots his head in our direction.

"For real?" Harry adds.

"You better not be lying!" Tori looks at me wide eyed.

"We're not." I smile, putting my arm around Niall.

"Oh my god! Congrats!" Everyone smiles as they jump up and create a group hug.

"Thanks. Don't tell anybody yet!" I instruct as everyone pulls away from the hug. They all agree as they sit down and finish their pie.

For the rest of the night, everyone's buzzing about the baby. When am I due? Do we know if it's a girl or a boy? Who's gonna be the godparents?  And every other question anybody could think of.

Shortly after dinner, everyone leaves, except for Kayla. Kayla stays and helps clean up. Because we have Kayla's help, we get done in less than half the time. We decide to watch a movie after everything's cleaned up. We decide to watch Mr. Deeds.

We end up watching a few more movies after Mr. Deeds. Since it's late, Kayla decides to spend the night. I haven't gotten to see her for a while since we've been on tour, so we figured it would be a good way to spend some time together.

When I wake up, I feel so miserable that I can't even get out of bed. I grab my phone and start a group text with Niall and Kayla. 

 Can one of you get me a glass of water please?

Two minutes later, Niall comes upstairs with a glass of ice water in his hands. 

"How you feeling?" He asks as he hands me the glass, helping me sit up and propping pillows behind me.

"I can barely move." I groan, taking a sip of the water. Niall gets into bed on his side and puts his arm around me. He pulls me into his chest and starts playing with my hair.

A little while passes and Niall and I are almost asleep when Kayla knocks on the door, not waiting for an answer before coming in.

"I got ice cream. Niall, I got you chocolate, Allie I got you vanilla in case the thought of anything else made you sick, plus chocolate syrup and toppings if it doesn't make you sick. And chocolate chip cookie dough for myself." She says as she starts pulling ice cream out of the plastic bag and handing me and Niall spoons.

After we eat our ice cream, we get out of bed, I get dressed, and then we head downstairs. 

"What do you wanna do today?" Kayla asks.

"I kinda wanna go out. But I don't know where." I say, scrolling through my twitter while we all sit on the couch.

"Wanna go shopping?" Kayla suggests.

"Oh my god yes!"

"Hey Kay, did a package come today?" Niall asks, looking up from his phone.

"Oh yeah, it's on the counter." She says, not looing u from her phone.

"Oh my god, I wanna see!" I yell as I follow Niall into the kitchen.

"What is it?" Kayla asks, following us.

Niall grabs a knife out of the drawer and opens the package. I grab one of the t-shirts as soon as he open it, hold it up, and read it.

"Oh my god they're perfect!" I exclaim as I turn it around for Niall to read.

Niall laughs as he reads it, "They're gonna freak."

"So you're bringing two with you, we're sending one to my dad, and then we'll take two to my mom and Charlie, right?"

"Yeah, I think that's what we figured out."

"Ok, I'm gonna bring these upstairs and put it in your suitcase. Then we can head out." I quickly run upstairs, then put my shoes on, and head out with Niall and Kayla to the mall.

Omg HI GUYS! I'm sorry it's been so long! I've been so stressed with school and my classes and it just a lot going on. And I'm taking a writing class, so by the time I get done writing my papers, the last thing I wanna do is write some more. But I've been listening to This Town and I am in love! So I've really been wanting to work on this and I finally got time this week with a lighter work load. Anyways I'm sure nobody cares, so I hope you enjoyed!
