Omniscient
One week later
April stared at the pregnancy test in disbelief. It showed the positive cross indicating that she was definitely pregnant. This was the fourth test she took today and it's also the last. She came to realization that this was not a simple mistake. She sighed getting up throwing all of the test in to the trash can and grabbing the bag tying it.
She walked downstairs seeing Chris playing with little Royalty and with Nia along his side as she gave them a slight smile. She didn't want to tell him yet because he seemed so happy about his little girl that she didn't want to take the shine away from her. April tossed the light bag outside in the dumpster then she walked back in to wash her hands.
Ron has been on her mind every day since Mr. Robinson came to her office and she has yet to tell Chris. She didn't know if it was going to cause him more stress or make him happy, probably both. She just was just looking out for everybody except herself.
--
Chris has been in pure heaven since he found out baby Royalty was his. He has never smiled so much in his life as his mother would say. I wasn't supposed to say this but when he found out he cried like a little bitch aha. It's okay though, he was just happy that he has a little him so soon.
He knew something was up with April because she has been walking around looking stress out since last Thursday. He doesn't want to force her to tell him something he'll just wait until she's ready.
His mama told everyone at dinner about her having breast cancer. Yes, it was a lot of tears shed but she reassured everybody that she would be alright and he was right by her side as always.
--
Mr. Robinson has been in contact with April since that day giving her an update on everything, he was still trying to decide to give up the game for his son and he did.
Later that evening, he gave his entire business to his enemy to have his son back in his arms. So they thought he did.
They lead him in this dark room and he turned on the lights and saw his son spitting up blood.
"Ron..." he mumbled.
Ron looked up, wiping the blood from the side of his mouth as he had tears running down his face. He knew how much his dad loved the game and when Ron was younger he knew it was more important to him. Now he see Mr. Robinson has changed and loved his son more than anything.
He went to Ron pulling him into a tight hug. Ron tried his best to do the same even though he was so weak. "Thank you" Ron barely said above a whisper and he nodded.
"We have three minutes so let's get you out of here" He was confused when his dad said that and they pulled away from the hug. He locked his arm over his dad's neck and his dad wrapped his arm around Ron's waist to keep him up as they walked out.
Ron limped his way out there with his dad and once they crossed the street they heard a big bang and they fell. Mr. Robinson smirked to himself as Ron looked back at the burning building shocked. He looked at his dad and shook his head chuckling.
His dad got up, helping Ron up also as they walked away in smoking air and little pieces from the building continued to fall.
The End.
