Day out

I walked back over to the table with a smile on my face seeing Mijo by hisself.

"So what happened?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"Nothing man we just had a little talk aha"

"About what nigga?"

"Just know that Imma bring her with me when I take the kids out this weekend."

"Mm aight cool but ha know everything ain't gone be cool like it used to man then things you said-"

"Don't remind me I'll fix it aight? Get off my back"

"Whatever lets go bruh" he said getting up I guess he already paid.

"I was gone pay"

"Nah I had it man" he said as I got up and looked over seeing April again and I waved and she did the same smiling a bit then looked away. "Bring yo thirsty ass on son" he said making me laugh.

"Shut the fuck up" we both walked out getting to his car.

-- Saturday

"Y'all ready to go have some funnnn" I said as they yelled "Yes!"

"We gotta get April first though"

"Auntie April?" Maleah said looking at me through the mirror.

"She y'all auntie na?"

"That's what daddy say" Mylen added. I pulled into the parking lot in April's building.

"Welp I guess so then, get this phone here and tell her we are outside the building and she needs to hurry up" I pressed April's name on the phone handing it Maleah.

She grabbed it putting the phone to her ear jigging a bit to the music waiting for her to answer making her brother chuckle. "Hey Auntie April! It's Maleah... Unc said hurry up because we are outside... Yes ma'am" she put the phone to the side looking at me "She said don't rush her" and I threw my hands up as she got back on the phone. "He didn't say nothing and right now?... Okay see ya!" She handed me back the phone.

"What she say?" I asked grabbing it.

"She right there crazy" she said pointing to the entrance of the building as April walked out.

"Why she gotta be my auntie good lord" Mylen mumbled.

"Imma tell yo daddy boy shut up" I said laughing as we watched her.

She came up to the car knocking on it as I unlocked it getting in "Hey Chris, hey babies" she closed the door turning around to them giving them kisses on the cheek.

"What about me?" I said when she turned back around putting on her seatbelt.

"Nope" she said quickly and I sucked my teeth pulling the stick into reverse, turning my body round backing up out the lot.

I caught her looking at me as I turned my head to her "What?"

"I can't look?" She said as I backed up enough then I turned back around driving off.

"Not saying that at all" I shrugged paying attention to the road. "You look really good though.."

"You do.. Auntie" Mylen said and I shook my head.

"Thanks fellas you do too" she said smiling placing her purse on the floor in front of her. "How long is the drive though?"

"Ehh bout an hour"

"Alright that's not too long"

"Can you turn the music up uncle Chris?" Maleah said leaning up a bit.
