Since my brother left Marcus been way too nice lately. Did he beat some sense into him or nah?

Last week Chris been down bout the little boy breaking up with him I told him there are plenty of other women he can date and he tried to run game like always aha. We never spoke of the kiss but I knew it was on his mind. I tried to avoid him but you know how that goes.

"April" Marcus said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"You heard what I said?" He said smiling.

"Mhm" I smiled back not knowing what he just said.

I grabbed some of my food chewing on it "So you wanna get married soon?" I choked on my food as he patted my back. "You good baby?"

"Mhm" I took a sip of water. "Babe I don't think I'm ready right now"

He sunk in his chair looking at me "You was just ready a few months ago"

I sighed "I know, I know it's just a lot right now and this job is a lot babe"

"Really the job or that nigga?" He sat up leaning on the table.

"What? What are you talking about? No it's not about him" I shook my head. "Look I'm ready to go"

"Whatever man" he called the waitress over asking for boxes as we sat there silently until she came back and placed our food in the boxes.

He payed as we left getting in the car. I watched him as he drove gripping the steering wheel,he looked so hurt. I grabbed one of his hand and kissed his cheek. I can't do marriage right now because I... I don't know.

"Mona get out man not today" I looked at the book I was trying to read as she came in here getting on my nerves begging for dick like bruh.

"Chris come onnnnn I know you want your stuff and I want some dick" I did want it back but I need to stop fr.

"Bye Mona" she sucked her teeth storming out, acting like a little ass girl. I placed the book down laying on my side. I really couldn't sleep I got too much shit on my mind. My ass still a little salty about Kae but April was right there are more bitches out there. I only got my eye on one though, Imma take her from that bum ass nigga. She been to happy lately though her ass be getting dick downe that's supposed to be me.

"Go Chris, Go Chris" some patients surrounded me as I shmoney with this old lady. I was laughing as me and her danced bruh she was trying. I looked over seeing April leaning on the wall watching everything smiling, I split through the crowd walking out as they "awe" because I didn't finish.

I chuckled walking over to her "Hey beautiful, came to watch ya man dance huh?"

"Boy whatever" she blushed a bit. "I'm glad you getting out more despite the shakes happening yesterday, see you do listen to what I say" she smiled.

"Mhm, I guess I mean you ain't nothing special but whatever" he shrugged smirking.

"Get bopped" she said making me laugh.

"I'm kidding chill crazy ass"

"Welp ya know" she flipped her hair chuckling.

"See I'm not dealing with you today"I chuckled. "How you and Michael doing?"

"It's Marcus you know that don't be rude, and what I tell you?" She cocked her eyebrow.

"I like it when you get serious" I bit my lip watching her. "Keep playing hard to get, I'll get that ass sooner or later" I looked around making sure anyone wasn't looking as she started walking away and I smacked her ass. She gasped looking back at me squinting, mouthing "Imma fuck you up" and I mouthed back "I can't wait"

She walked off quickly as I looked at her ass. She just don't know!

"You know you too would be cute" I jumped looking behind me seeing the old woman I was dancing with.

"Ms.Taylor, what you talking about?"

"Boy don't play dumb with me I know everything, can't fool an old woman" she smirked and smacked my ass walking off. Did she just..?

I was calling Marcus, leaning against the desk "Yo" he answered.

"Hey baby"

"You know not to call me when I'm working"

"I called you yesterday and you ain't had a problem with it"

"Well I do today what you want man?" He sounded annoyed.

"You know what nothing whatever" I said as he hung up, wow he really is upset about me not wanting to be engaged to him right now. He needs to grow up. I placed my phone in my pocket walking out seeing Mrs.Jones smiling walking in. "Omg you're back" I hugged her as she hugged me back.

"I know, thanks for checking up on me and watching my patients" she pulled back smiling.

"Ah don't thank me it wasn't nothing trust me" I shrugged.

"These other heffas would've did it, I'm glad I can count on you"

I smiled "Always, oh and I brought some extra food for lunch because I was super hungry this morning when I made it but I can't even open the other bowl would you like it?, it's Shrimp Alfredo"

"Hell you ain't gotta tell me twice I'll be on it" she said making me chuckle. "Thanks again April" she hugged me once again going in her office.

I looked over at the clock it was about ten so April should be around here to check on us in a little. I heard a soft knock on the door, speaking of the angel.

I got up opening the door as she looked at my body, I forgot I had my shirt off and just some boxers on. She cleared her throat "Hey, you okay?"

"Mhm I'm fine, come in though"

"No I gotta go"

"Come on girl" I pulled her in as I closed the door and she stood by the wall watching me then she turned her head.

"What you want?"

"You" I said simply.

"I don't have time for this-" I grabbed her face and kissed her deeply cutting her off. She tried to resist but then she stopped wrapping her arms around my neck as I picked her up placing her on the wall as we kissed sloppily, gripping her ass. She let a soft moan release from her lips as she felt me grow hard underneath her. "Chris stop" she said against my lips as we were breathing heavy against each other. I walked out his room feeling someone eyes on me then I looked back seeing no one. I'm tripping. I got out of the building saying bye to Melvin getting in my car.

I just wanted him to fuck me so bad just now but this isn't right. It felt so good though. I knew he was going to do that when he pulled me into the room. I can't be feeling this way towards another man or my patient at that. I speed home getting to Marcus.

Once I got there I ran upstairs seeing him come out the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist as I dropped my purse and keys. "Hey" I mumbled jumping on him kissing him deeply.

"Damn baby you good?" He pulled back a bit looking at me confused but he was smirking.

"Yes just fuck me" he nodded carrying me to the bed.

I feel bad because I wish this was Chris right now.
