After the cheering had stopped and I was placed firmly back on the ground, the guys waited for the first fight. It was abundantly clear that the fights were going to be a lot more physical than just witnessed, the blows would be harder and the injuries more server. The tension crackled and popped, like fireworks just waiting to explode. The first pair arose from the group, cocky smirks and teasing shoves as they made their way to the middle. Greyson gave them the signal.
"Oh, I have been waiting too long for this," the first guy smirked, raising his fists and readying himself.
"Likewise. I've been dying to wipe that stupid smile off your face, Gregory."
"And for the ladies here, be ready to witness incredible strength... especially you Summer," I could feel Shane still beside me, just on the verge of running over there but I placed a hand on his arm.
"There will be a time for that later," I whispered.
The men lunged at each other, clashing like two big trucks; the larger man wrapped his arm around his opponents head, holding him still.
"Try to impress her now," he snivelled, the vein in his neck popping with exertion. He thrashed around, trying to find a hold anywhere he could. The rival reared back, pushing both men to the ground. They rolled and wriggled, each vexing to get the upper hand; it was like a weird kind of dance, the way they jumped and ducked. The smaller man bent his body, charging forward and catching his rival in the stomach; he let out an audible oomph, the air rapidly pushed from his lungs. Their wrestling began again, each attempting to pin the other to the ground; an elbow flew back and caught the smaller guy in the nose, he stumbled, grasping the bleeding orifice,
"Shit," he spat. The larger man sent me a wink before round house kicking him in the stomach and looked on as he flew through the air, landing with a thud on the ground. Everyone waited with baited breath, seeing if the man would get up; groans and moans escaped his mouth but he made no attempt to move. The larger man wiped the blood from his mouth, placing his hands on his hips and letting out a long breath.
"Who's next?" he called out.

The guys fought for a long time, there was a brief pause for some lunch but everybody seemed keen to get back. The losers of the fights moved off to the side, rallying in their own mini tournament to see who was the strongest out of them, that way they knew where they stood and who out of the females were in their range. Shane had fought and won several of his own fights, beating many betas and alphas alike; he earned his way up and was nearing the top. The alphas were usually the last to go, not bothering to waste their energy on the lower ranks; they knew where they stood.
A very large, bulky man stepped out; his body rippled with grotesque muscles. He was smirking, a definite air of self-worth around him; must be an alpha. He sauntered to the centre, flexing his muscles slightly and said with the utmost confidence humanly possible.
"I challenge Alpha Theo... We'll see who wins Summer after this," the air was silent, it was the moment many of us had been waiting for; the moment when some fool would challenge the legend that was Theo Robinson. I hadn't really caught a glimpse of Theo until now; he walked with pride, like he knew he was going to win. I perked up, gazing at the man with interest; my wolf inhaled deeply, letting the man musk full our lungs.
"Challenged accepted," he muttered, sending the first blow to the man's face. The man didn't even have time to react before the next blow was coming, beating the air from his chest. Theo never let up, he kept sending more and more punches until the man was no longer moving. He didn't even have a scratch on him.
